I don’t see how you can expect any QB to develop a rhythm right now. It’s almost like you just want to criticize the position player performing the best right now nevermind the drops or weakness across the board.

I haven't in this whole thread JUST complained about Bo.
(See below).

I think PFF said they counted 8 drops, which is damn too many, but we know it's a combination of Bo not putting it in better places for the WR as well as WRs that are avg ball catchers.

I get it. For whatever reason, negatives about Bo has struck a nerve.

But in the end we all want the best QB to work this new offense into getting better. Harsin feels Bo is that guy, and that's fine with me too. Doesn't mean I can't get frustrated too with some of the results.

I mean when PFF only chose the 8 that are considered “on the target” passes and you still want to put blame on Bo…

I also relied on Stat Tiger, who I trust with his numbers too. And he said 8...

And I also said Bo can improve on those aspects of his game to make him a better passer.

I do want him to succeed. He's a gamer.

Confusing? How?

Bc I posted recently my thoughts on Bo and TJ as QBs and u decided to point out how I was a Finley supporter?

In the end I see issues with both QBs w consistency and add in WR issues and OL being avg, we are struggling to be a potent offense. Bo, since Penn St and Ga St have improved and that is what Harsin thinks is our best chance. I’m good with that.

Combination of an inaccurate QB & receivers with stone hands - not good. Also hard to pass block when you have no idea where QB is

I remember two times where Nix could have stepped into the pocket.

Never seen a true Auburn man and player hated this much while working his arse off and trying to win games. It’s dumbfounding. If we treat our own like this why would anyone want to come play here. Bo’s not perfect. Some would say he’s not even that good. But the dude is probably playing in the top 3rd of the conference this season and we are hating on him like he beat some of y’all’s sisters up.

What’s the agenda?

The agenda is people want to win games, especially against one of our biggest rivals. It’s easy to hate on Nix. But in actuality, the play calling does not fit his style. If he were running an offense with quick passes and a lot of RPOs, he’d probably look a lot better. With Bobo, it’s not a good fit. I guess when you come in as a 5*, people expect you to be elite. He hasn’t lived up to that yet. I’ve just come to accept the fact that Nix is who they’re going to stick with, so I just keep hoping Bobo will start calling plays that fit his style better.

Can’t say I disagree with that.

I do think as I’ve said since he’s been at AU there should be 8-12 designed keepers in big games especially against the LSU’s, bammers, and UGA’s of the world. Obviously you can’t combine that with pin point accuracy because of the getting beat up. But the threat would be enough to at a minimum require a spy for him. If they use a linebacker I think Bo is able to shake him or out run him. If it’s a DB that means either 1 less linebacker or a DB not in coverage. Plus he’s a gamer he wants the ball and wants the action. But you can’t do it every week and expect a QB to throw with any consistency beyond the beatings taking that many tackles but in big games I say run him.

We are in an offensive overhaul at this point players have to make plays. We aren’t doing that enough at any position

Auburn's 23 drops on the season is the worst mark in the SEC, and has now surpassed its total from all of last season (19).

This is it...in one sentence.

And what's frustrating, on the offensive side, is we can see so much better how passing routes are being run, more areas on the field for WRs, TEs, RBs where they are being targeted for pass plays. That part is refreshing from years past.

As Harsin says..it's all in the execution, and if all parts can find consistency we will see it on the scoreboard.
