I'm thinking not even his doctor knows.

That kind of information could move a mountain of money around.

Just get healthy big fella. Don’t rush back and re-injure it

I had a horrible sprain, blowout in college. Stepped on a foot while I was driving in the lane and it went all the way to the floor. It was the worst pain and injury I’ve ever had and I’ve broken several bones. Decades later and it’s still not the same.

Exact same for me. The first few years I would roll it like every week.

Recovery depends on the grade of the sprain. All we know is it isn’t a Grade 3. Just my guess is it a Grade 2. With that I would expect anywhere from 3-6 weeks. After swelling and soreness goes away rehab and ankle strengthening and stability will be the determining factors.

With that I would expect return somewhere around Oklahoma or Florida at home. So 5 games without Broome.

Miss state @home
Georgia @away
Tenn @home
LSU @away
Ole Miss @away

4-1 would be an incredible run in that stretch

I had a high ankle sprain playing pickup ball when I was 25 or so. Couldn’t walk right for 6 mos and it didn’t fully heal for a year. Ankle sprains ain’t no joke.

I wonder if they will do a stem cell injection? Not cheap, but Broome and AU can afford it. It's been a miracle cure for some muscle and tendon issues for me and I know it's used by pro athletes.

In case you're wondering about the source of the stem cells, they take them from your own hip bone. It's nowhere near as bad as it sounds, I walked out of the Dr's office both times, back to working out within 2-3 days.

stem cell injection

There is a sports medicine clinic in Montgomery that does stem cell injections. He will almost certainly get an anti-inflammatory medication and physical therapy along with rest, ice, taping, etc.

The only problem we have now is having to play a different style until he comes back. Of course that may be what is needed to win the ship if we are able to effective merge the two at some point. Assuming we still without him.

Do high top shoes help prevent ankle sprains?

How many rolls of ankle tape does a basketball team go through in a season?

We know the team practiced for purdue without Broome. Throttled them and they are #12 in Kenpom.

MSU and Tenn being at home are massive

I was one injured mad Mofo.

My ankle was yellow the next morning and I knew I was f'ed. I had never trained for anything like that and really enjoyed the training but it kind of took the wind out of my sails after that

I bet that was discouraging af. I cant even comprehend the amount of sky screaming anger I would've felt.

I don't see that as a bad thing. IMO, we need to figure out different ways to play with different players. Being able to play multiple styles is a scary thing for opposing teams.
