That'll be something.

ALSO:
Warnings for uniforms violations followed by a timeout being charged upon subsequent offenses from any member of that team. Violating teams that are out of timeouts would be assessed a 5-yard penalty.
Teams could use 18 tablets between the coaching booth, sideline and locker room for the purpose of viewing in-game video only.
Implementation of 15-yard horse-collar tackle penalties within the tackle box.

What are the new rules on uniforms. That mean the knees have to be covered? Or something with color schemes?

I think it's the same uniform rules, except the multiple violations part. So if the whole team dressed in the wrong uniform as decided they could potentially start on the 1" mark?

Helmet communication, is it like the NFL where its muted once you step to the line.

I think during the bowl games they tested it and they were live the whole time since it was just a test. Kind of ignorant. The OC could sit in the box and tell the QB what the defense was, and who was open in real time running the kids progressions for him as the play progressed.

Just call it pre-NFL and get it over with.

More than likely the coach will get 15 seconds before the mic mic gets turned off.

I don’t mind the 2 minute warning at all. I don’t mind helmet communication. I’m also not saying either was needed.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Rule changes last year to allegedly speed up the game, now this year 1 more TO per half. And these two TOs will be taken automatically…no taking it to the locker room. A contradiction with one common denominator- more commercials.

And honestly, I could live with that if I thought it was improving the game. But I don’t think this does. I guess how I feel about it will depend if Auburn is losing or winning. Haha.

Imagine these timeouts bring in top dollar.

With fans being tied to the screen.

Commercials should not be allowed to constantly interfere with the flow of the game. Limit the total number of long commercial breaks and allow short ones to be inserted into game dead spots. I don't really want to listen to the announcers yakking to fill up space and would just as soon have a brief commercial.

Last year they were trying to shorten games, and now they're adding two timeouts to every game.
