Nick Eason. Played at Clemson. Most recently the Bengals DL coach.

That’s a hire I can get behind. We trade Tracy Rocker to the NFL for a younger, likely more energetic coach

Wow. This staff is pretty damn solid. Can't say it's incredible because I don't know how long term some of the guys are but very good technical coaches. Only question is how these guys will recruit as a group.
I love the Zac Etheridge hire but only question is how good is he with elite talent vs elite talent. I have always said the best coach Gus had on his staff's at AU was Greg Brown. We have seen it pay off in the DB's we've had drafted the past few years. Those guys will basically all be gone when Smoke is gone. Coach Garner obviously put a ton in the NFL but he also got elite talent to work with.

Hopefully he can recruit. Looks like only NFL experience but didn’t really expect Rocker to go out there and kill it on the trail either

This really looks like a solid hire. It happened quickly so he was obviously already on a list.

Obviously he can coach. Based on what you see with his personality in the video, he should be able to recruit well if he hustles.
