Yeah if we struggle again this season I’d be fine with moving on… it hurts bc it’s shutting the door on the greatest run in program history. Sucks too bc I like the staff Steven has around him.

Is what it is. I ultimately blame Bruce for leaving us this situation.

Just another reason to fire Cohen with cause.

I believe in the military this is one of those "lost of confidence in ability to command" situations. regardless of fault, the top guy has got to gol

At some point, if everything is consistently messy, it points to the top. I can’t think of anything that has really gone smoothly under Cohen. It is just one thing after another. I was probably one of the more lenient ones on him during the Bruce retirement and hiring Steven, but I never thought that was handled particularly well. Golesh hiring process was a mess. Just always seems some administrative issue after another pops up across the board.

Steven isn't getting a pass this year so he better have plan b ready to go

Yep, when you get the job through pure nepotism you better show results. Not like he has any proof of concept from previous stops to give him breathing room. His seat is going to be beyond scorching if we don't make the tournament this year.

Someone needs to make a rule that if a kid has

1. ever signed any kind of pro contract anywhere to play a sport you cannot play that sport in college...no exemptions.

2. Set an age limit. If the player turns 24 before the school year in which they intend to play they are not allowed...no exemptions.

3. You have 5 to play 5 before the age of 24.

That's pretty much what the new rules are.

College sports are just a disaster these days. It makes it a whole lot easier to be "meh" about it all.

Fringe sweet 16 team with Mantas.

Fringe tournament team without him. He was going to finish out the “Big 3” with Pettiford and Overton.

A lot has to go right to get in now. Definitely have to keep track of the metrics in each game now.

And I agree it’s beyond time to let Cohen go. Our AD has been a disaster since he became the head guy

Between the guy that was arrested a few weeks ago for giving up Auburn football internal information and this guy, knowingly sending the basketball team on a wild goose chase, I am leaning toward the GOBN doing more good than harm. Holy shite.

These "professionals" that have been brought in from who-knows-where are just fricking us at every turn. That includes the man at the top, Cohen.

Bottom line: Auburn athletics is a fricking clown show from top to bottom.

Period.

How embarrassing. I’m just at a loss to how big a joke we are.

Let’s look at the bright side we don’t have to listen to Andy stumble over his name all season
