If we're going to be critical (and I have been) of CGM when we lose and look unprepared, then we must man up and give him props when we win and look good doing it. That team was prepared, focused, ready to play yesterday in all 3 phases of the game.

Gotta hand it to Bo, too. For the second game in a row, he was exactly what we need him to be and he rarely tried to do too much
I really hope he has hit a turning point

I just hope that wasn’t our peak aka 2014 LSU

Until he beats Georgia I don’t care. Other than that extremely happy for the boys and happy for Auburn. I still won’t acknowledge Gus until then.

shhhhh! :)
Actually it was the TaM game that seemed to send them mentally south. After that demoralizing loss, they couldn't recover it seemed....

quote:Our clown coach is 3 of 8 against LSU and the primary reason for Auburn currently being behind in this series. Which now stands at 31–23–1. And when adjusting for those leads which he's squandered it would be a near balanced rivalry so. . .

. . . it simply was about time!

Yeah that was demoralizing but LSU was our most well rounded, complete performance of that season.

.... so he's been HC since 2013
And it's now 2020 so is this not eight years ?
And we agree he's had 3 wins so how is 3 of 8 wrong?

Read it "3 and 8". My mistake for bitching & moaning before I've had coffee
Sorry, back to lurking.

He started taking the open run when the pocket broke down instead of forcing a pass into traffic. If he can keep that up teams will have to spy him.

That was the best all-around team performance I have seen since..............well, I can't remember since when. hell of a job by all involved with our program.

I enjoyed that game, but it does not change our trajectory until we see more.
I am a cynic hoping to be proven wrong.

Your wording was an attmept to make it look worse. Which is why it was misunderstood. The record is basically 3-5 which means we are one last second field goal from being .500 with them over the past 8 years.
Its all a matter of how you look at it. But please continue to be miserable. Its only one game after a great win.

I’m just enjoying football this year. Whatever happens happens. Was good to see it all go our way . Hope it continues. Need to see Bo perform like that on the road in a big game. Would be nice to see it against Bama later because it would be a good launching point for him into next year.
But.... yesterday was just 1 game. We could lose the rest or we could win the rest.
It was LSU I’m choosing to enjoy the win

I’m somewhere close to the same. Just not getting too upset about games this year. Can’t even explain why. Hell, I have not rewatched a single game all year. Very odd for me.
Maybe it’s because I am working way more than I should or that the season is shortened. Not sure
I enjoyed yesterday. I’m sure we will have another game or two to enjoy before it’s over. I think it’s possible that we could go 3-1 over the last 4. That would be a nice finish.
Another win against Bama would just be icing.

If wanting it to sound bad sound it I would have written last night he was heading into a potential 2 of 8 situation.... or maybe that he was facing 2 and 6.
But I took it easy on the bum and let him off light.
