How many teams have hired a HC with more prior success than what Harsin had? Even Saban wasn't Saban when LSU hired him. You just don't see coaches that are having success at another big program leave for another one. Brian Kelly is the only one I can think of. And he only left ND because he's getting older and wanted a big payday. Edit: Forgot about Riley also left for USCheat.
And proof is in the pudding. Auburn is one of the most winningest programs of all time. Numbers don't lie. All while playing a much tougher schedule than most teams ahead of Auburn in all time wins.
