Dammit, I fricked up.

I get the feeling jonesy has never had a real fight in his life. He just carried his violin quietly in the background of campus trying to be unnoticed.

One of these days that hippy is going to take that violin and slap that fricker across your face. And there really isn’t anything you can do about it because he is Asian

Do you really wanna go there?

I did stupid shite when I was 20 years old too.

I imagine we all did. But then there is whole other consequences that come with. A simple, personal example is 5 DUI's now I guess. Luckily (sometimes yes,, sometimes now) they were all spaced apart by age, time / timing, and space (distance), as in Alaska 22 years ago and Japan 3 years ago. Luckily (?) no one was ever hurt or injured in too many years of drinking and driving. No matter where you go (like, to other countries), I have found that this is a generational thing. No one under 35 or so can imagine someone drinking and driving. And at least as far as I and the thousands of people that I know, not many people over 45 or 50 or so can't imagine not drinking and driving (there were no taxi's, Tiger Transit, Uber, whatever in the past. It was call someone if you could, do your best to stumble home, crash where you were (and many more times than not, were taken care of, blah, blah), have your own personal stories (tragedy is involved in there for too many people unfortunately, like #43). RIP Lutz.

frick you Jonesy just cause frick it all. Insert whatever gife of old white man destroying PC and cubicle you can find.

Why not we try that for a day? You know, just to take a break from everything. I hate tech and tech hates me, but I think I can find some white guys destroying shite that may or may not resemble certain posters on certain boards.

frick everyone. Happy New Year. Besides my Mother who made the drive back safely to Auburn from Houston Co. Tennessee. She got turned around in Bham it seems and wound up in Hoover. She has made this trip over a hundred times.

She stopped and asked a few people for directions. "I need to get to #280." And a Bama fan (it seems - hat or t shirt, don't have every detail), said "Ma'am...that is #280 right there. Roll Tide.".

And Mom said she said "Thank you. Congratulations on another great season, and War Eagle." And she found #280 and made it home to Auburn safely, again.

Compulsory ETA - Tell me anything that is wrong in this situation. Flip it over and I don't care who the frick you are, it doesn't take more than a smidgen of....frick....what? Time, like, 5 seconds? Caring to help? Is it that hard, there, now? Some bammer just wanting to show he knows shite and to say Roll Tide? Hey. Good for him. It helped my Mom. Do we have any 80+ year old posters on this board? 70+? 60+? I honestly want to know, for perspective. Too many of us don't have it these days. Or probably, I am just old and realize it now. Younger people - it's important, IMO. Recognize it, learn it, appreciate the value of perspective. You will be better off. Free two cents. War Eagle.

ETA 2 - Mom wasn't wearing anything AU and nothing on her Camry. It was just a Bama fan taking a bit of time to help someone in his neighborhood needing help, and doing his thing as I hope most of us would with a friendly "War Eagle." sendoff. And I hope bama beats the ever-living shite out of thuga to the point that 1980 is just a huge pile of salt on openly gaping mortal wounds and thuga is on the op table, paralyzed from the neck down and doctors saying there is nothing else that can be done (except to make sure the nurses and staff know exactly how much and when to add more salt here and there as needed.) Bama and Saban deserve everything that they have achieved. Utmost respect to a few UGA players like CSB III. Great story. HE is a winner on the field and in life. Because of both. But may 1980- live forever with salt going into those woulds as prescribed.

I'm open to NIL deals. For me, of course.

Lots of folks on here talking about talent evaluation and things.

I'm open to offers. Piko Taro says War Eagle Fam.

Like I was trying to say earlier let this play out some we have no idea why or what happened. Hard to take sides.

Not good when starters are walking out the door tho. Just being honest

Jang to conclusions.

He was good, not great, and if he is cancer in the WR room that's the last thing we need . Shed could still have a year, but he wasn't built to be on the single side yet that's where he plays. We got tons of WR recruits, and I anticipate QB/ol recruits. I think maybe some of the OL won't try for the NFL, another year could do them well for development

I am just not a bitch about every toss and turn

There is a time to be patient and there is a time to raise concern. Im not sure we are there yet but its close.

You lost the Starting QB (with no back up) who was a Auburn legacy and lived his entire life to play for Auburn.

You now lost the best receiver we had out of a group that was already pretty depleted. Others who we had hope for (Canion) also left.

We had to damn near beg our best running back to stay on the team who is only 1 year from going to the NFL.

All this on a offense that is already pretty bad. I get the sentiment that you have to let him do his thing and all but we need some guys left that have some experience. I have no idea if he was a bitch in the locker room, I dont think any of us do but changing the culture can go both ways. It is always the first thing someone says when a new coach takes over. I mean, have any of us even noticed a culture issue with Auburn over the past few years?

Culture can also be a location thing. Fitting in here in the south is not a easy thing for some. Look at goofy Brian Kelly's attempt. Mike Leach is doing OK but its still a odd fit. Brian Harsin will be recruiting from the south. Not in the north. The players he recruits will be mostly southern. It is a compromise for both parties. Not just take it my way or get the hell out. That will not win anyone over and will not build a program

I said it before and I still remain with my statement. The University of Auburn (hope yall like that) is not Boise State and not the WAC or whatever that league is out there. Auburn is one of if not the hardest coaching job in D1. He needs players. Guys leaving, for whatever reason, never looks good. It affects recruiting and hurts your overall depth. Just look at the list of guys we have lost since he got here. Most of them were our more talented guys. Harsin may need to learn to deal with the prima donna types or learn how to mold them instead of just sending them packing. It is just part of coaching at this level.

On the other hand, if Kobe was a little bitch, he did the right thing. Im just saying, its a two way street and you cant just totally clean house. If so, you better have a good reason. If Harsin does that and just leaves, we will all be sitting here wondering what the frick just happened.

Auburn legacy is all I hear about Nix. If that wasn't his last name, would anyone be upset about losing a less than 60% completion/mediocre QB?

When you have players dancing on the sidelines while getting their asses kicked by a bunch of nerds from Northwestern, hell yes you have a culture issue. You also had a HC that thought winning 6 games was a "good season." If Harsin is running people off because he demands excellence, that's a good thing.

No it's not. Big money, winning tradition, fertile recruiting grounds surrounding it, new facilities being built, etc. Auburn is one of the top programs in the country. If it was so hard to win at, that wouldn't be the case.

Were they? I haven't seen a single guy that has transferred make an impact anywhere else since leaving.

I'm pretty sure if Hudson got kicked off the team, there was a good reason for it. Otherwise, he would just be in the doghouse and have to do extra stadiums or something.

At this point, I'm trusting Harsin. Is he the guy? Will he be successful? All that remains to be seen, but I'm going to withhold judgement on every single move out of the football program. I know there's probably more coming. Is melting fun, well, sure sometimes. But it's really no way to live.

At this point, I'd rather ride with Harsin, a guy that appears to not be satisfied with where the program is or with mediocrity in general than have a guy who is happy with 8 wins and is comfortable with status quo.

I'm hopeful that this time next year, the program has a significant upward trend. If we're not competitive, disciplined, and prepared with a foundation for the following year, I'll definitely be concerned that Harsin is the guy.

Same here.

Growth can be painful sometimes. We are spoiled as Auburn fans in that 3 of our last 5 coaches have had good or great starts (Bowden, Chizik, Gus) and we have come to expect that to be the norm. Dye and Tubs both missed bowls in their first seasons, but the impact was felt pretty soon after that.

I don't disagree with this, but it's not the barrier that some think it is. Saban is from West Virginia and was educated up north. Jimbo Fisher was born in WV. Mark Stoops was born in Ohio and went to college in Iowa. Kiffin was born in Nebraska and went to college in Cali. Sam Pittman grew up in Oklahoma and went to college at Pitt.

If it helps I'm not freaking out...Harsin's flaws as a leader prepared me to expect these issues.

I hope it's just cleaning up the locker room, but I bet it isn't.
