Not surprising, they will tire of Mr. 8-4.

At a certain point, it starts to seem apparent that these players were never loyal to AU, but to Gustav.

Considering how some of them were treated by him (Gatewood, MAR for example) you have to wonder what the attraction is.

Unless Gustav isn't the real attraction.....

This is stupid.

I'd rather go 6-7 in a coach's 1st season we're he's rebuilding the culture than go 7-6 in a coach's 3rd season where he started the season ranked #2 in the country.

No bra titty t-shirt is all I'm seeing. I just have too much testosterone to function at times.

Malzahn was and is an ego maniac. I still don’t think he’s accepted he was FIRED by Auburn less than halfway through the worst contract ever.

He just had simple coaching concepts. You could come in as a freshman and pick things up, but unless you were a difference-maker you'll be at the same point as a Junior. That's how his system worked. That's fine. It works but maybe not at a place like AU. UCF is perfect.

I will only rather go 6-7 if the alternative is 5-7. Newsflash: next year won’t be pretty either.

What sense does it make to compare a year 1 coach to a year 3 coach that already took you to the NC game and an SEC championship.

Sounds like you’re wishing Nick Marshall never happened.

I would rather NOT be 6-7 unless we know there is improvement and hope for the next year. We didn't see that in the last 5 games.

But, the discussion is more about length of success and not a 1 year comparison like some are doing.

We know Gus' history. He can get us 8-4, 7-5 in most years, and maybe 1 year when he's competing for SECC/NC, but we wanted more of those not less.

UCF and 8-5,9-4 us great for UCF, we are still looking for that 10+ program....and we are too early in Harsin's reign to know if he gets us there.
