And I just saw that Deuce Knight removed all AU from his social media. Maybe it's nothing.

If he transfers we may need to rethink our recruiting strategy for high school quarterbacks. This would be two years in a row we pay a handsome sum for nothing.

Word is he is from Tuscaloosa.

Maybe I'm wrong and this is just hearsay, but I have always heard that the SEC rules say that officials cannot work games in which their alma mater is playing. So in the case of the DSOR none of the officials could be alums of Auburn of Georgia.

I know it would be near impossible, considering the SEC hires officials from the southeastern footprint, but it seems like there should also be a rule that you can't officiate a game in which your alma mater's rival is playing, or that your alma mater would have an interest.

not sure about that. I do know one was suspended during the Tub era. Tub gave them the finger, without giving them the finger, during the game.

Freeze could have saved his job by giving Ken the finger last week.

I was hoping he'd get himself ejected just for moral team support. We'd probably have won without him too

Last year was a direct result of Deuce coming in.

If deuce leaves it’s because we fired a coach.

Sounds like sports gambling to me. I don't think I ever heard of an SEC ref being fired.

If so, and there's a paper/money trail, he's got A LOT bigger problems than never officiating again, like prison.

Would also have severe implications for the integrity of CFB in general, think Black Sox.

Also, what about the rest of the crew? He wasn't the only one blowing calls.

Would like to see the list. 9 of the 11 were valid apparently. That is a wild %.

My guess on the two that were not confirmed as valid:

- AU TD at the end of the first half...most of us believe Jackson scored, but the video may not have been clear enough to overturn.

- Targeting call against AU.

Some of the nine:

- UGA offsides on the TD/fumble play.
- Missed targeting call against UGA
- Missed defensive PI on UGA defending Cam Coleman.
- Think I saw the UGA receiver push off on a reception in the second half that was not called.
- Roughing the passer on AU.

Already deleted the game from my DVR but would have no desire to go back and look anyway. As much as I'm happy to see this guy gone, all of this really just reopens a wound and dumps salt in it.`

Still, Gus: "I got Les Miles fired."
Hugh: "Hold my beer."

It should be he would leave if we don’t fire a coach.

They’ll always protect their own from accountability because if there’s ever true accountability a huge percentage of the SEC refs are fricked.

With this news today, a coach would have been justified for losing his sh!t and going off at halftime.

But ours just whimpered and cried.

That game was just awful as far as the administration of the game.

The game sort of became flags and reviews. Very little flow.

Maybe Terry needs to ask himself about the facts of the termination before whining on twitter

frick him. More than likely, tDSOR was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Georgia getting 38 minutes to kick a field goal was the most egregious part of that fiasco

Crew from OK game this year was suspended a week, quietly.

The thing about the goal line call is either it’s an Auburn TD or a Georgia TD.

I think it was a fumble. But also think the play should have never happened because the play before was a TD.

Gotta hold on to that ball regardless.

Also the targeting on Kaien Lee was not targeting and the roughing the passer was a bad call too.
