All of that bs reffing wouldn't have completely mattered if Auburn has an offense identity that could adjust in the second half

He did bring in a lot of talent. He just doesn't seem to know what to do with it.
He has no fire in his belly.

I see a lot of similarities to what Auburn's football program is currently going through compared to what the Tennessee program went through ( Derek dooley, Butch jones, Jeremy Pruitt era)
I hope Auburn doesn't have to go through that many coaching changes before they can find one that can "right the ship"

There is no way to know how a coach will perform on the big stage. Harsin had a great resume.

We already have.
How about an “Important Auburn Stats: A thread” and it includes the overall records, SEC records, performances against rivals, etc going back to 2015?
Three coaches. Consistent sucking. A decade of major let downs.

Although I don't think Gus was a fantastic head coach...IMO I would not put him in the same category as Harsin or Freeze

Ranked 123rd in pass plays of 10 or more yards and 129th of 20 or more, Auburn continues to lack explosive plays on offense.

We’ve wasted 3 seasons on this POS. Unbelievable.

9-9 at home considering the amount of rent-a-wins we get there is unreal

Entering the UGA game, our offense was a combined 3-for-28 on 3rd down conversions in the previous 2 games.
I know we had a pretty good conversion rate in the first half, but I only remember 1 conversion in the 2nd half ... is that right?

Dunno, .... Gus was a great coordinator .... but was a marginal HC because of his failure at QB development and OL recruiting/dev.
Given the bare cupboard he left Harsin/Freeze ... I believe he has earned every bit of criticism that has come his way.

I have to give you credit you were right about Freeze from day one.
You were wrong about Malzahn. He needed to be fired. This program downturn started under him.

We haven’t beat Georgia since 2017. Unfricking believable.

Why do I feel the people in charge of making these choices haven't learned 1 damn thing, it's not THEIR fault for their choices, and will continue to do more of the same in the years to come.
This is not my Auburn football.

Wasnt just me but yes, I never thought we should have hired him

No, not really. Apparently I was right if you look at the last 5 years

I thought he did as well at th end. Confidence was lost and it was hurting the program.

Na. Not downfall. Just not able to keep up wtih Bama and UGA
Gus was a perfect Auburn coach and was perfect for our inconsistent nature. He had some very good highs which made up for the lows for me. Now we just have lows and no highs.
But that is a old discussion. He is gone, we have sucked worse than ever since he left and the results are what they are
Hope we can finally get someone here that can make us competitive again

Not even close.
Gus had his issues for sure. Im not claiming him as tGOAT AU coach or anything. But the two guys that followed him have taken the suck to epic levels.
