The momentum of beating #1 uga and then coming home and beating LSU in jordan hare would create a mountain of momentum all across the football program

Wrong.

A victory is desired, but not necessary to prove a thing.

Play another flawless game and take LSU to the wire. Make it a sacrifice to beat Auburn at home.

The two weeks bought the kids, the result in Athens secured the trust…but this is the SEC and the challenge is here every week. Answer the call and play a damned good game.

Thank you. This narrative that now we should win all l these games we were already not supposed to is not realistic

Not a must. This is still a 6 to 8 at the very most win team. That is what it is. What’s important and what has really excited me is that we are building. Golesh is recruiting well. He’s building over the next two years. And he showed he can get a team to do the incredible and take out a top team. On the road. A top rival that has owned our arse. Even if we end up 6-6, I think we are headed in the right direction.

My man, you're forgetting the team that we saw before the UGA game. I sincerely hope that AU can continue the momentum against LSU but expecting it would be silly.

I don't like the 11AM kickoff. We are also "Georgia" this week, in that we are coming off an emotional, tough game. LSU, while not having a bye, basically was able to sleepwalk past Moo State without their starting QB. As long as we are excising demons, AU has had quite a few flops after big games. I remember beating Florida in 2001, and then the next week squeaking by Louisiana Tech in overtime.

This will be a dangerous game, against a coach, who I don't think is great, but is unorthodox. He will constantly go for it on 4th down, and if our offense can't stay on the field consistently, the D will get worn down. I have been walking on the moon the past 36 hours, but hopefully we can all come down to earth.

LSU not coming off as intense a game but they also impressed last week and might be found a little guilty of reading their own press clippings as well

LSU hasn't had their bye yet so even though they had an easier game last week we should still be the fresher team playing at home. That doesn't guarantee anything but it's an advantage imo

I dont trust our defense against a coach that will constantly play 4 downs to get the first down.

I’m taking the wait and see approach. I hope the team I saw Saturday shows up.

I agree. This will be a tough one. I am sure the crowd will be in it but that early start time blows. Have we ever played LSU at 11 at home before?

We need to win 1 of the next 2. But neither are must wins.

We have proven we “can” beat anyone but haven’t shown yet we can put together a complete game. We still start very slow on both sides of the ball. But I think the players and coaches are starting to learn the strengths of the team.

The goal is to keep improving each week if we do that this season is a success.

We are a butt fumble and a tackle 6 inches from the goal line from being 2-4.

Challenge is to keep this momentum from this game going.

Was the Courtney Taylor reception not a 11 o clock game

There was plenty of day light left then.

Those are breaks we haven’t had in a long time. Glad they went our way this time.

The 2004 game? CBS 2:30 game. But it was the third game of the season, mid September, so still daylight at the end.

I’m like everyone else….

I want to beat the hell out of everyone that casts their shadow on our door. But this is not Grannies Garden Party….this is the SEC.
