If some football recruit is worried about an NBA player that is a dad of a kid on the opposing team getting booed then I question the intelligence of that recruit.

You think any bammers are cheering Charles because he’s a big deal nba guy to impress football recruits. Get real.

And if this is for Ryan Williams specifically it’s who brings the biggest bag period. Any of the top 25-30 is all about who has the money and how soon they can get on the field.

Not even close. How many NBA defensive awards has Lebron won, how many has Jordan? Scoring titles, championships, etc.

Hell Larry Bird was better then either one of them.

Lebron isn’t chopped liver defensively. Or wasn’t. Age is catching up to him a bit lol.

That being said he isn’t the defender Jordan was. It’s a matter of motor. Jordan’s was second to none.

Not to mention the loafs, the flops, the crybaby attitude. Plus the game just isnt as physical. This baby soft league they play in now is unwatchable.

Speaking of the NBA and mellinuals. The NBA was hilarious last night. Our era is softer right.

How much softer you tell me.

The Greek freak scored 64 last night and a skirmish only happened because pacers also wanted to give Oscar tshibwe the gameball for scoring his first point in the NBA. Giannis literally went to the Pacers locker room to get his gameball. The Pacers are obviously being dicks about this, but the skirmish didn't happen because the Greek freak was embarrassing the pacers. No. The Pacers were apparently nice about getting embarrassed in their faces. It happened because of some petty bullshite after the game over who gets the gameball after the herculean 64 point effort. The effort ended up being overshadowed by feelings. Does the Greek freak act this way if the Detroit Pistons back in the day tried roughing him up all day, everyday. Doubt it. Would he try this if Kobe is playing for the Pacers? I know them coward Pacers would lay down for anybody. That isnt even a question. I read the NBA and the NFL are both telling the players to knock it off with the patty cake shoving matches. These players arent really mad or tough. These dudes are overcompensating for their insecurities. And of course I am one of those. So dont ask me to fix shite.

It's become more entertainment than sport. They've changed the way the game is called so it's easier to score. The same thing is happening in football and futbol too. More points=more fans=more dollars.

Hey Jang as a Gen X’er we need you to fix some shite…

I can admit it. Us Gen X’ers were the problem. We raised ourselves as the first generation to be without mothers in the homes and in the workforce. We then over protected our own children and sheltered them from all obstacles. And now those kids having kids it’s multiplied to absolute insanity. Luckily for me my boys had drive and respect for themselves but I think some of that was still a little fear of mom and dad. Now kids don’t fear shite. Go to jail no problem, curse out your parents no problem, nothing matters except be who you want to be

As a millennial meh. This is the same sort of kvetching that’s been a thing since Socrates.

I’m 38. Yes millennials are starting to approach middle age lol.

Did the Pacers give up the ball?

If not, I don’t think that’s nearly the story you think it is. You could probably frame that story differently, change the team to the 80s Pistons and you’d think they were harddos

How generous of you.

Unfortunately, Leebron and his ilk would disagree with the proposition that people who disagree with him/them are “entitled to their opinions”.

Surrendering to people who hate you is never the path to either agreement, compromise, or victory.

Yeah I guess. The Pacers say they did.

My point is they were harddos in areas where it mattered- as in during the actual games. They would borderline assault players with their hard fouls and definitely would show more fight while the one opposing player was lighting them up for 64 points

LINK

They punished you.

That's probably not going to happen. I can do an oil change and change a flat. But dont even ask me to plug a flat.

Like when Jordan dropped 59 on the bad boys? Or when he dropped 61?

The intelligence of 18 year old kids should always be questioned. WTF - you of all people should know that Corch.

Charles is affiliated with AU so of course Bama people will hate him. But if Tom Brady was on Bama's campus to watch spring practice, of course they would embrace him for the publicity. You get real.

Sure, but meeting one of the biggest sports icons (regardless of anyone on here's opinion) on the planet will still be cool for him.

Again I dont really care about Lebron being there or not or whatever he does in the NBA. I'm just saying selfishly that if him being there helps recruit these 5 stars in anyway them dont frick it up by booing and bringing politics to a fun basketball game.
