If burning a flag is protected speech (as SCOTUS has confirmed), then certainly sitting during the anthem is as well.
You might not like it, but if you believe in the principals you're ostensibly "upholding" then you need to be logically consistent.

I've been a Lakers fan most of my life but really lost interest in them once he got there. No particular reason, he's just underwhelming to me as a personality, especially compared to the greats I grew up with like Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Kobe etc.

LeBron makes boomers go insane. LeBron kind of annoys me off the court occasionally but I never even consider it beyond a passing thought. He's a basketball player and a really damn fun one to watch.
Not sure why the boomers let him completely drive them to maniacal thoughts with such consistency. If I let athletes and entertainers offend me so easily I would probably have to completely shut myself off from culture for the sake of my health. I would urge such boomers to do the same.
