I said two years ago that I thought Butch was Auburn’s best coach

I still believe that. Last year didn’t worry me at all because I knew how good of a coach we had. I think Auburn baseball will stay relevant for many years to come

We are certainly having pretty consistent postseason success with him at the helm

I am happy we have him. He is building consistency. That's a great recruiting tool.

Why do we have to rank our own coaches? Especially since they all coach under different circumstances that don’t cross over.

They all coach for Auburn. So let’s say we have 2 great coaches that are peaking to consistent championship capable levels. Period.

That is correct an also 1 of those seasons of the 5 was the shorten no postseason covid year. so really 3 out of the 4 post seasons. We are 9-0 our last 3 regionals

Butch has done an amazing job. I thought AU baseball would benefit the most from NIL. I haven't seen it yet.

Butch has done a great job rebuilding the roster when needed. We aren't dominate but we get the job done. He's an elite coach at a school with one hand tied behind it's back.

And why these in state pitchers keep going to other schools I have no clue why. If I was a top 5 instate pitcher I'd be all down playing for Butch.

Outside of Tanner and Keegan, we haven't done great with highly rated pitchers.

I don’t follow college baseball like I should. Why does he have one hand tied behind his back?

Scholarship challenges. You have 11.9 or some odd scholarships to provide for your whole team. Academic scholarships can help but most won’t qualify at AU.

The states with lottery’s give scholarships like giving out candy. It puts those schools at a major advantage. Alabama and Auburn are just not equipped to compete at that level without help.

11.7

Private schools like Vandy basically have their entire team on full rides due to being able to give need based, as in Corbin needs this guy to have full ride.
