I still think of the 3 major sports he is number 2 behind Bruce. But it’s razor thin.
We had baseball history but basketball our history was a disaster.
Butch definitely has learned how to recruit the type of player to AU and be successful

We’re not going to let him leave. Too many large projects and investments made in him. He’s called AU home longer than anywhere else and his 3 daughters will all be AU graduates. He also just became a grandparent and that little one is in Auburn as well.

We’ll keep compensating him accordingly but yeah he’s become as Auburn as they get at this point

Cohen being a baseball guy and having a history of spending on buildings/additions should work in our favor.

we need to work on our NIL for baseball. we are at a disadvantage with schollys. NIL could make up for that in a hurry.

Interesting. I didn’t think the rank and file fan would be a big factor but I wasn’t sure. I know I’m not going to give anything to some kid who hasn’t proven anything. I’ll just sit back and watch college football (and the rest of the western world) collapse under the weight on its own greed and corruption.

Horrible performance this weekend, but AU isn't getting a coach better than Butch or even on his level.
shite happens sometimes and I bet Butch will have AU back in contention again next year, if we don't run him off for some loser.

My opinion stays the same. We had a top 5 recruiting class this past year. Those guys will all be sophomores next year. The future is bright

I was just fricking around. I don’t really give a shite about baseball and it seems butch is a good coach. But Bruce is our best coach and it’s a bit of a disrespect to what he’s done for the university to say otherwise.

I think one person suggested Butch maybe the best coach on campus. No real support on the board but really a weird time to bump the thread.

Im as big a Bruce fan as anyone but not sure why people are so offended by your suggestion. Butch is damn good. Postseason disappointments happen for every coach not named John Wooden. Next season does look bright
