None of those clowns know anything and are making it up for attention.

Freeze? I’m good if that who gets it. Am I enamored with him? Nope

Im in the same boat. His coaching history checks all my boxes but he's got a definite stench that keeps me from being too excited.

Regardless of his coaching ability, we could call him in August and he'd still be available, so I'm baffled at the amount of urgency we're creating here...

But he made sure to insert himself into the controversy.

We have been over this, case was settled out of court months before, the girl was ripping every member of Liberty Admin on Twitter including the AD, who had zero involvement in any of it, So Freeze DMs he’s my friend and a great leader. I understand that English and Grammer is a foreign concept for some of you but please list anyway that statement could hurt Liberty University.

Liberty is under federal investigation. With Arkansas State, he was only there a year, so he didn’t have enough time to completely ruin that program.
I didn't realize the football team under Freeze was involved. Could you post a link?

Yep, all it took was wild amounts of cheating that landed his school on probation and him out of a job. So hilarious this continues to get glossed over by some.

The good news is that it's now legal to pay players(not in hookers), but he likely wouldn't have had to go down that path if the NIL was around then. Show me another highly successful coach that never cheated to get players. Again, not hookers, but giving a player something to play for them.

We all get it. He made a big mistake. He was relegated to being the coach at Liberty, which might as well be a DII school and made them somewhat relevant. As soon as he leaves, they'll be an afterthought. If he hasn't learned a lesson at this point, he likely never will, but I have to think him getting another chance will change him. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Explain why you think he’s a good coach? He’s never accomplished anything… literally nothing… anywhere.

You better put some respect on Hugh’s 2011 Sun Belt championship.

Lincoln Riley has at least won a division title, not to mention conference championship.

Are you really trying to compare Ole Miss to Oklahoma? Riley took over for Stoops, who had that program rolling over the Big 12 for years. Ole Miss was 4-8 and 2-10 in the two years leading up to Freeze's first year.

With the resources that Auburn can provide, I have no doubt that Freeze can compete at Auburn. He wouldn't have been my first choice, but you can't tell me the guy can't coach.

You pay the AD for their expertise, the minute that AD let fans tell you how to do your job is the day the clock on you being fired starts.

If Kiffin and Freeze was Cohen guy then stick with it.

These are the top 15 coaches by winning percentage who have been at their school 3 or more years. You may recognize a few of them.

I mean Cignetti is looking like a non-crazy hire at this point. SEC - check. HC experience - check. Turnarounds - check. Someone should pick the guy up. If we had taken Kiffin he would be a good OM hire.

Rank Coach Name School Compensation Win %
1 Ryan Day Ohio State $9,000,000 92%
2 Nick Saban Alabama $12,000,000 88%
3 Kirby Smart Georgia $10,000,000 84%

4 Curt Cignetti James Madison $1,000,000 83%
5 Dabo Swinney Clemson $10,000,000 81%
6 Luke Fickell Cincinnati $5,000,000 77%
7 Jeff Traylor Texas-San Ant $1,500,000 76%
8 Jim Harbaugh Michigan $6,000,000 75%
9 Paul Chryst Wisconsin $5,000,000 72%
10 Hugh Freeze Liberty $4,000,000 71%
11 Shawn Clark Appalachian St $1,500,000 68%
12 Mike Gundy Oklahoma State $7,000,000 68%
13 James Franklin Penn State $8,000,000 68%
14 Lane Kiffin Mississippi $7,500,000 68%
15 Kyle Whittgham Utah $7,000,000 68%

The only shitstorm would be from our pussyass fan base.

If we believe the media on everything else then they say he has been in talks for weeks. It's not rushing but he has to get a staff and have time to work on portal recruits.
