Devils advocate time, do y’all think Bama fans would have been after Saban for Milroe throwing 2 passes beyond the LOS, the center going Nolan Ryan at our 6, kicker missed an easy FG and allowing us to run for 244 yards, if they had lost? Especially since they have the best recruits money can by.

Saban has won like 7 national championships. I mean sure they would have been pissed about it but its not like Saban has not proven himself to be able to win big games

You cant look at the last two weeks and just sit there and say, " We just dont have the dudes". IF that were the case, how in the hell did our "dudes" almost beat them last night?

We are behind on the roster. WE all know that. But that was not the reason we lost last night.

But somehow our shite talent team managed to play up and have the game won last night until it was taken away from them. The last two games are very ironic when it comes to the excuses we have used for those two inexcusable loses

Some guy name Vincent Jackson went the wrong way on the one yard line in 84 that cost Iron Bowl.
Of course there is always Jimbo out there for those hating on this staff.

So was muffing a punt and having your back to the QB on the last play

We don't have good enough dudes

Did he really? I've never heard that and I have heard plenty of Bo's feats.

Apparently we do, we almost beat Alabama.

We just made pop Warner league mistakes like not having the right punt returner back there (coaches), and the worst prevent defense I’ve ever seen (coaches).

Put 8 of your tallest receivers, DB’s in the back of the end zone equal distance apart, and rush 3 linebackers and we win.

No. They are not good enough.

Hence the reason we gave that game away.

Or just let a punt go. Put together a decent drive. If not punt it deep and make them drive the field with less than 2 minutes on the clock

Or drop a probable game sealing TD in the back of the end zone with 6 minutes left.

We were literally in a position to win and our scrub DB got bullied by a top 100 wr in the end zone. It matters

What a fricking pathetic post.

Our "scrub" DB has been one of the highest graded corners in the entire country the past two seasons and will be a ~Top 3-4 round draft pick in a few months. Their "Top 100" WR has 500 yards receiving on the season; he isn't Randy Moss.

That was NOT a "talent" issue.

Throwing the players under the bus is a chicken-shite response. It was a pathetic defensive call by the coaches, and the player in question made a pivotal mistake. Have you considered that players make mistakes when you deliberately put them in stupid defensive positions that you otherwise never put them in? How many times in a game do you rush 0 and ask the DB's to play coverage for that long? You never do; so guess what happens when you try crap like that with the game on the line? Someone fricks up.

James should have played that differently. However, can you tell me why we wasted a man to sit in the middle of the field and spy Milroe? That is a coaching failure, not a player talent failure. That player made zero impact on the play.

Let me go even further: is it a smart coaching decision to give a QB with wonky decision making the comfort to just sit unabated in the pocket and let him have the entire field open to scan at his leisure? The reason why you want to pressure the QB is because if you force him to escape left or right, it effectively cuts the field in half for him and dictates where he can realistically throw the football. This usually means that he is forced to throw it into a crowd, because the opposite side of the field is an absurdly difficult throw. When you let the QB sit in the middle of the pocket, the DB's have to cover sideline to sideline which gives the opposing receivers more room to operate. Furthermore, the QB in question already fricked up twice earlier in the game when he was forced out of the pocket and couldn't keep track of the line of scrimmage. Why would I want to then make it easy for him to do his job, when he has already shown poor decision making under pressure?

Better players across the board will help; no shite. We had that game won and some pivotal coaching calls failed miserably. Do we want to talk about 3rd and goal from the 5 yard line where we decided to try to run Hunter up the middle? He gained 1 yard and we kicked a FG. That is scared coaching. The likelihood of that play resulting in a TD is very low. There was nothing on that play to even throw the defense off; it was just a straight run up the middle.

We went toe to toe with arguably the best team in the Nation with no real players. We don’t have 1 guy that would start for them. We have zero 5stars to their dozen. Players make plays and we just don’t have them.

Marcus Harris has 7 sacks on the season as a DT and is one of the highest graded DL in the country. He also sacked Milroe on the final drive.

But sure, we have no real players. The fact that we were winning that game was all on the majestic coaches. How incredible of them to take a bunch of backup caliber players and put us in a position to win the game!

Ok I will bite, what decisions did HF make? Scott was injured and Moore was the back up and you expect a guy that has been playing since he was a kid to make a fair catch. The defense on the last play was shitty but I don’t think Hugh gets involved in calling D. He took over the worst AU team talent wise of any coach since Dye.

We went 6 6 and got drilled by new Mexico state and had an all time choke against our biggest rival that was all our own doing and our head coach apparently had no idea what was going on during most of it and is defending the worst part of it. Yes I'm still melting

...Brother Hugh had us punching well above our class yesterday but at the end of the day they got the jimmies and joes we got what we got and it showed when it came time to make plays. The good news is this is the worst roster Freeze will ever.

Delete "Hugh" and "Freeze" and insert "Harsin" and I am sure someone posted the exact same thing after the loss to Alabama in 2021.

Pretty obvious Freeze isn’t judged the way Harsin was but Freeze is also doing what the boosters want and supposedly getting some stud players in. We want to win championships. Harsin was treated horribly and publicly. Blowing the UGa and Bama games due to miracle plays was likely a little Karma or God punishing us. Bama and UGa success has broken some of us. Time to get over it and start taking back what is ours without all the whining. Players need to know the fan base aren’t all a bunch of idiots freaking out over everything.

We did this to the top two in the SEC. Not one .....both.

Colorado and Auburn started with two new coaches.

Colorado collapsed.

Auburn makes it to a bowl game.

My bet ......Colorado doesn't compete against Georgia or Alabama .....

Uh, you do realize that scrub DB will be playing on Sundays, right? He is the 6th highest rated DB on the season (according to PFF grading).

Possibly.

But even so, the game was in hand. Just this and that, and Auburn wins.
