Sounds like something happened to Gus's daughter. Have y'all heard anything? I hope it's nothing major.

GUS FAMILY EMERGENCY

UPDATE: She was readmitted to the hospital after giving birth earlier this week. Reports are that she is in stable condition. (sounds like good news)

Hope everything is alright. Gus is a good family man and any father would do the same for their kids.

Hope she's alright.

Damn, that sounds foreboding.

Hope everything is alright. We give Gustav a lot of shite but he's a good guy.

https://mobile.twitter.com/therealBeede/status/1449481449653084163 His daughter had an issue with her recent pregnancy and had to be readmitted to the hospital. Looks like everything is OK now.

Meanwhile some of our fans are posting stupid threads about him on other boards. Pathetic how some Auburn fans have acted towards him.

Hope his daughter is fine. Seems like that is the case.

I highly doubt fans posting about the score and outcome of the UFC game and Gus’ daughter are rellated. Auburn fans are going to be invested in his career, just the way it’s going to work. People are going to feel vindicated when others said they were wrong about him way before he was let go.

Its not directed towards him personally. Its more towards his overall coaching prowess. I have yet to see people talk poorly of his character

Yeah, I don't understand all of the Gus hate. He has coaching flaws, but he is good people. He never brought Auburn into a bad light. I am pulling for him in every way, shape and form.

I think a lot of it is trying to reassure ourselves that we made the right decision buying him out.

It's petty, but ultimately meaningless in the scheme of things. He's not every going to read any of the crap we spew about him, and I am fairly certain that even if his biggest detractors on this forum met him IRL they'd treat him with warmth and respect.

Well, most would, anyway

we definitely did the right thing. It was time for a change. The program had grown stale. It still doesn't justify poor mouthing him and actively rooting against him.

In my years as a Auburn guy I have not seen Auburn fans act like they have with him. It’s more like what Georgia fans have done over the years. It’s really pathetic

He absolutely had flaws but brought most of us, the best memories as a Auburn fan that we ever had. Without the old typical “Auburn” issues. Clean program.

I will be pulling fir him as I do all the X Auburn coaches and players.

Yep, I have great respect for Gus and thought he was an honorable man, and did nothing to hurt Auburn. He showed great love and respect for Auburn and the fans.

I have no idea why he got away from what made him successful. The move was the correct one but Gus does not deserve to be treated like shite.

He helped bring a NC, took us to another, and some SEC championships. I hope all is okay with his family and hope he succeeds at UCF. He coached against our rivals at their strongest points in their histories.
