I trust this person that told me this however I don't know if this is 3rd hand information or 4th hand... Anyway if the mods want to delete rumor mill stuff they can.
Bo's situation -
Bo wants an evaluation of where he would stand in this years draft. 3rd round or higher he would enter the draft. He would weigh a 4th round pick but would likely return to college.
Bo has 3 places that could be of interest. Auburn, Clemson, and aTm. Clemson and aTm would basically have to assure him a starting position. He also wants to know who the WRs would be and next years defensive strengths. If he can't get assurances of a starting spot or a heavy lean he would return to Auburn. The new OC at Auburn would also have influence on what Bo would choose as well.
Patrick would like to get back into college coaching with the money now. Caleb is graduating this year and Patrick would like to be a head coach at lower level school or a OC at maybe a G5. I don't think he would take an OC job at lower level school with the exception of possibly Jacksonville State or a similar type school in the south.

I love a good rumor. However, I don't see Clemson or TAMU telling their 5* QB's to sit for a one year Bo.

I could see this with such a weak QB class in the draft.

Maybe? CU/TAMU had starting freshman 5* QBs this year.

We chose 5* Mocha Cam AKA Khiel Frazier over 1 year of Russell Wilson

This isn't correct in any form or fashion.
We wanted Wilson. It came down to Wisky or us. Wilson chose Wisky.

Yep. IIRC it was their OL that sold him.

I doubt any Coach anywhere does this.
A chance to compete. That is what anybody will get. The best player will play.

I hope this rumor is not true.
I do feel for Bo, though. Auburn simply is not set up for him to succeed at the moment, thanks in most part to Gus's lack of line recruiting and lack of quality QB coaching. I mean we all saw how much of an improvement we saw after Bobo got to work on Bo's tendencies. He didn't eliminate them, but he certainly improved.
I honestly don't know what I'd do if I were Bo at this point. It's a tough position to be in knowing your line is not going to improve by much next year and WRs won't improve much either. Not to mention all the players leaving now.

Thanks for sharing
NFL for Bo would be ideal so that he can start his family as he is about to be married soon.
I wish him nothing but the best.
I am more than ready to see Harsin groom a QB in his own image.
WAR DAMN

At this point, Bo would be a project for an NFL team.
Turning away from direction of play under pressure is a bad idea, and unfortunately that is Bo’s go to bailout.
He’s very athletic. He would have to really improve accuracy. He would also have to understand how to throw a guy open.
He’s got potential, but I can’t see him playing in the NFL immediately.
It is a difficult position to play. He could carry a clipboard or run taxi squad for a team.
It is still more money than I make- I think.
Isn’t the league minimum $400,000?

How does he compare to Stidham? If Bo is not at Auburn, I hope he goes Pro. Could see him at a lesser school such BUT not Clemson or Atm

My point exactly! You have a choice of a proven, experienced player but only have him for one year, or an unproven highly ranked, out of HS, player with little to no experience at the collegiate level?
We all saw how that worked out, although I remembered it being that Wilson passed on our offer, but I could be wrong.

I can believe this to the extent those teams are telling him this under the covers but saying something different publicly.
Then if he goes somewhere else he somehow after spring is named the starter.
The draft analysis sounds right on.
Bo, regardless of the weak QB draft( which only applies to 1st and 2nd rd QB picks IMO, could be a late 3rd but more than likely 4th and later more than likely.
Ps- no way I see aTM with who they already have.
