The real best QB we had currently takes snaps at Liberty.

As much as I want that to be true, I just dont believe. I love me some Malik Willis but I honestly think he Is where he needs to be. Plus, we were just not tooled to do what was needed to use his skills. All that was over after 2014 unfortunately... Biggest Gus mistake ever

Everyone knew Gus needed a running QB except Gus.

Gus actually pulled Jeremy Johnson pretty quickly when it was clear he didn’t have it. He was a preseason heisman candidate and didn’t make it to game 4

Jeremy Johnson made Sean White look like Tom Brady. Dude was complete trash.

It was hard to believe the Jeremy Johnson that we saw play the first half against Arkansas in 2014 and fill in for games in 2014 was the very same JJ that we saw in 2015. Its hard to believe that someone could be that scared of being "the guy". He looked like he was scared to death out there.

Yeah the JJ hype had some foundation. Scouts were all going gah-gah over him the entire offseason and loved the Arky footage from 2014. Then he was the guy and it looked like he had some sort of traumatic experience out there

Gus focused his full attention on him. It wasn't until Stidham came along, that Gus lifted his ban on QBs getting outside coaching. Let that sink in.

It was early in the Louisville game, after one of JJ's first passes, I turned to my kids and said uh oh. It wasn't mechanics, footwork or football IQ, it was deer-in-the-headlights.

Im still kinda waiting on the Gatewood guys to let us know why he cant get any playing time. I mean, he is at Kentucky who is really struggling

That is the exact same argument they gave for him not starting at Auburn being Gus's fault. Why not bring him in if the team is doing terrible? Kentucky could certainly use the help right now.

I mean, if he is the world beater that we were told he was and that Gus was just a pure idiot for not starting him, you would think we would be seeing some of that greatness already.
