How many NFL players run that fast?

I’ve got real doubts about 4.25 and Shedrick.

I don’t doubt he’s 4.5 or better, but …

At 4.25 would he be the fastest man in the NFL?

Are people getting faster or training better?

Xavier Worthy ran a 4.21 so he's the fastest. Look up the Pro Day at Auburn a few years back and they actually have a video of him running a 4.25. Should be on Auburn Twitter or maybe YouTube. It was electronically timed.

Shedrick Jacksons' Pro Day time was NOT laser timed. You can clearly see this from the video itself: there are absolutely no poles set up anywhere on the field with the laser timing devices. Go look at what the 40 yard dash setup looks like at the NFL Combine for comparison.

You can even see all of the scouts waiting at the finish line and checking their stopwatches lol. His 4.25 was hand-timed.

Aaaaaah I just learned something today. I always assumed that they had electronic AND hand times at the pro day. Looks like you sused out the incredibly low 40 by Shed. Nice work. So I guess that 4.25 is probably like a 4.35 electronic. I swore they had electronic at our Pro Days though.

How are we doing on the OL?

Do want. Need some elite lineman on both sides this class

If they weren’t twins would they be rated as high? I’m sure they are fine players but film I have watched doesn’t show dominance. Plus the interior brother is undersized in my opinion and I think he’s the one rated higher

I'll ask this as nicely as I can having never been a football coach or talent evaluator. When you are watching film on these random guys how can you make a decent/confident evaluation without knowing really anything at all about the competition they are facing?
