I will not pick AU in a "big 8" SEC game until I see proof of concept. AU has sucked in SEC play for about 6 years now. Harsin beat LSU finally, but they weren't good that year. Freeze beat a ranked TAMU (barely). Other than that, AU has beaten no SEC team of note in many years. Therefore,

I know this is a difficult concept for you to understand… but the situation Harsin inherited from Gus (including but not limited to a future starting nfl QB) was infinitely better than the one Hugh inherited from Harsin.

my reply was based on the claim that beating a bad LSU team in 2021 and a mediocre TAMU in 2024 were the only successes in SEC play we’ve had since 2019, i gave two examples disproving that assertion

For the life of me, I want this to be a point where we start to turn the corner. I can honestly say that 2019 Alabama is the last game that sticks out in my mind. That is so long ago.
