A lot of people did predict Zada by Penn State…Maybe a game behind.

Great quote at the end of the article:
quote:

This obviously means more time for Robby Ashford, the only other QB to get meaningful snaps for Auburn. Harsin was asked about Zach Calzada, the Texas A&M transfer, and his health, and Harsin said he was not aware of an injury that has kept Calzada off the field as the other QBs have struggled with turnovers.

TJ for all his faults played through the bad plays and pressure and hustled his arse off

Penn State if you include sacks and hits on the QB 36 pressures.

We had 4. 3 by Eku and 1 by Harris

Should’ve happened after week 1. The Oline has proven that we need a running QB to have a shot of scoring.

The rumor on Calzada is that he injured his shoulder or elbow or something at some non-football event where they were hitting tennis balls as far as they could with a tennis racquet. Not even making that up .

I believe any and all suspension rumors.

Give me an infraction and I’ll believe it

He kinda got my respect by the way he stole some rushing yards but his interceptions are something else.

QBs running for their life is just the same-o, same-o at Auburn

That’s what 18-22 year old kids do. Play on scooters, hit tennis balls, pick up basketball.

Any of you every been around an athletic dorm or where all the sports folks stay or congregate? Insane what can become competitive

But that’s just normal stuff they don’t live in bubble or constantly think about football like we hope they would

Those kids are not supposed to be “kids”. I know for a fact my bro toured Troy Badeball and cokes along with a bunch of shite were forbidden. There is sacrifice.

Homerun derby team activity

Also expect him to take a medical redshirt soon. In my opinion high probability of him hitting the portal too since the staff will be gone. No reason for him not to get ahead of it.

I keep hearing about this running thing by Ashford, if he cant throw the ball.....he cant outrun 11 men. Having a running QB is not some magic formula, it works when passing is a threat.

Defenses will go into single coverage, creep the safeties, put a spy on him, and that will be the end of that experiment.

Play Geriner. His performance may not be much better to start, but the upside is there, and recruits can see there is some light if they sign on.

Was that at the "Auburn Olympics" team building event?

Well, how far did he hit them and if it was a contest, did he win?

I just hate the way Harsin lies about stuff. He was asked yesterday whether TJ was hurt and he said "Nah, he's fine, ready to go."

And he will hit a bomb over the top. Just like he’s already done this season, when he has a little time.

These crack me up - why do you think HG will do any better than Robby passing? Neither one has had any time or experience doing anything in college. They are literally at the same level of zero college experience. It’s fine for you to prefer one over the other from a style perspective but there is absolutely zero basis for stating one is a better than the other at this point of their careers.
