They have infested the north Florida area too, but there are plenty of Auburn folks here too. I couldn’t imagine being in the heart of thUGA country. Hopefully you don’t get any of the mutts’ fleas on you.

Y’all think Georgia is bad try growing up in the Bamaham area in the 70’s. We were separated by fandom in school. It was insane.

I’m not sure how fondly David Housel is thought up but when he made his we will win the war speech on the radio broadcast it was true for the most part the sons and daughters of the bham Bama grads were starting to go to Auburn and many other areas across the state. Dye leveled the playing field and Housel challenged the athletic and academic side to get Alabamians to consider Auburn as the state university as much as Tuscalooser

Worked with a lady who was a big tUGA fan and she texted me asking me if I was watching when they were playing the Championship and I said no. She asked me why I wasn't pulling for GA and watching...I said I hope they both loose...she could not believe an AU fan would not be pulling for GA. Some are just nuts

Midnight Tiger is my son and retired Marine. We are originally from Smiths Station. I moved us here to Macon in 2001 with my company. His first trip to Athens was the Black Out and we came close to having to fight out way out. The Ga hatred runs very deep in this family.
I currently live in a one bedroom apt on Tobesofkee until we start turning dirt somewhere in the Ga mountains.

I am from Phenix city originally and it’s always hard to explain to people how you can be 30 minutes from auburn and be in the minority fans wise to not only Alabama but also uga because of Columbus being so close.

Oh, I did that too. Lived in B'ham 75-82. Left in 5th grade. I was an AU refugee as a kid.

Absolutely. How long have you been out of Sin City? I graduated from HS (Glenwood) 1977 and Auburn 1983.

Yes it is...
We still go over regularly as well. No doubt I would know your parents. Do you have a vet business here in Macon/Warner Robins?
We have always used Hodges of Critter Fixer fame for our Goldens. Due to his popularity his business has grown and his service is suffering because of it.
