That Saturday In October?
P.S. And this is primarily because the idiots who ARE NOT Jay Jacobs decided to pay a damn high school coach $49M dollars and now they're ready to frick tradition or anything else to cover their arse for their utter idiocy.

Calm down Jay. The ripples from your screw ups have almost dissipated.

Ya cause cause Jacobs wouldn’t have made that contract

As much as you want to twist your brain to believe it, the facts are that it was NOT Jay Jacobs who signed a high school football coach to a $49M contract.

But hired him and to think he wouldn’t have is hilarious

Hired a 5-19 head coach and a high school coach, but wouldn’t sign him to a 49m contract

Just play them in Athens 2 years in a row, and get the bama/uga home games staggered again.
If not, then we would end up with an unbalanced SEC schedule, where we had 3 home games one year and 5 the next. Right now the odd years we have UGA at home and the other east team on the road, and vice versa.

We said we moving it. They bent the knee.

LSU in September and UGA in the second half of October would be great.

Seriously. Why did both schools go full retard on this one? The most logical thing to do first would be stagger the Bama and UGA home games. Let's play UGA in Atlanta one year to offset the cycle and get it back to normal.

I feel this is to appease us moving to the east. UGA obviously doesn't want that. Hence bend the knee.

because we have Gus who is fighting for his job on a yearly basis it seems
he isnt about to give to playing UGA twice under his reign

UGA most likely wouldn't agree since they have the WLOCP around Halloween.

We would likely have to play back to back years at UGA to do this. I would rather move it up some, but would also be pleased with getting it back to the old way.

Yea I don't believe we can fix the both away and both at home thing until the current rotation is done. We are required to have a certain number of home and away games each season. UGA played away twice in a row in order to prevent them from having too many home games in one of the seasons.

As they say to us. "Ain't our problem."

Didn't realize this. But another issue is if say we lose to LSU and UGA in September, then our season is already toast. I wonder how many times we've played UGA with either 1 or 0 SEC losses, where the season was still alive in November.
