I was very underwhelmed by Miller this season. He didn’t do much with his touches. Reminds me a lot of Roc, minus the spin moves.

Really? Miller is like 25 pounds heavier than Roc and considered more of a north and south runner.

Not in style. In terms of hype that dissolves when he actually gets on the field. Barrett and Martin were far more impressive.

I mean the dude was a 3* and was rated a good bit below Barrett and Martin coming out of HS. I don't recall very much hype around him. I could be mistaken though.

He’s been highly touted on this board all season. Are you trying to argue that he is good? Because I’ll engage in that. Otherwise you’re just being argumentative.

Are you arguing he is not good? Based on an extremely limited number of caries, pretty much none with anything other than backups?

If you are comparing the hype for Miller to the hype for Roc, you are just delusional

No, more arguing this.

Some people have been optimistic about him, but the hype he’s gotten is nothing compared to Roc.

Very possible.

Hahaha fair enough. Yeah I guess my point was I’m not impressss thus far. Roc was definitely more touted but I think most fans expected Miller to be better. Just like we did with Roc “spin move/fumble” Thomas.

This must be based on not seeing him and assuming he isn't all that. The guy had like 20 carries all season

You don’t think 20 carries is enough to show a spark? My point is validated.

In mop-up duty with the reserves and no threat of a passing game? He proved that he was able to get 4-5 yards and be a big back. That is what people want out of him. Someone who could be a big back and spell KJ from some of the big hits. He showed glimpses of that, but barely got any real opportunities.

Yes, self validation. Always the sign of a point won.

We must have been watching different games. Miller was the least impressive of the three “mop up duty” backs.

Malik Miller is a good player and hard worker.. and i think we should move him to HB to train behind Cox. Sell him on being Carl Stewart 2.0..

Better comparison. He seems a little slow to me and certainly no side to side speed. But with limited caries, we dont know.

Absolutely. I see him transferring out, I think with Whitlow showing promise along with Asa coming in that he gets buried on the depth chart.

You could say that about any RB not named Johnson or Pettway. Hell, we wouldn't have known about Pettway if Johnson wouldn't have gotten hurt last year. I understood the not subbing when GusShortBus was actually running hurry up. But it's pretty stupid now that he doesn't anymore.

You do understand that as long as you act like a salty 10 year old here, nobody will take anything you say seriously.
