Year 2 and I’m still waiting, I haven’t seen anything out of him yet that shows greatness, just a average college QB.

He deserves some criticism but nobody is succeeding with this coaching staff and OL.
I actually feel bad for the kid, he was so loyal to Auburn but really torpedoed his chances of a good career coming here to be coached by Gus.

I mean, if he can't get some coaching to step up instead of bailing (or just won't take that coaching, idk which is the case) he will always be very, very average to very, very bad against good teams.
He is atrocious against any pressure and bails on clean pockets which will bring his chances at good throws down.

Part of the problem is who we are recruiting. Not to give Gus or Chad any credit but I don’t think that they are teaching him to bail in the pocket like that. He is bailing in the pocket on his own. We need to recruit better and actually bring in legit quarterbacks and before you say it.......I know he was a 4/5 star.

He was supposed to be the starter for the Patriots and by the looks of it he is not even the second string.
