Not to give Gus or Chad any credit but I don’t think that they are teaching him to bail in the pocket like that.

Yeah I wasn't saying they were coaching that. He did that in high school. He needs to be taught how to step up. And I mean drill it into him. Whatever it takes, he has to learn. And if he can't, you start looking for guys who can and will do it.

At some point, you have to be smart enough to understand the problem is not:

Nix
Stidham
Johnson
White
Frazier
Etc.

It’s GUS

I thought he would. But I'm finally coming around to the very real likelihood that he never does.

Absolutely this.

Green is not gonna fire Gus with this bad of a revenue year and with Gus' buyout being what it is.

Not with that offensive line he's not. That's the worst offensive line in the SEC and one of the worst we've ever had in our history. We are a line of scrimmage team historically and this is a line of scrimmage league. The only person that's lost on is the guy making $7M a year over on the sidelines.

Common denominator between a man and his five divorces is, the man.

Common denominator for all things wrong with the offense is Gus. These QBs are scared for their lives.

No. There's no more hype surround him anyways, he's not accurate at all.

Remember last year, when our Oline was senior-laden, played pretty awful, and several astute people pointed out that their backups must be pretty bad if they couldn't beat out that bunch? Now we see why these guys didn't see the field much last year.

That being said, there's a guy I know that plays is in his 3rd season in the NFL and is a LT for the Patriots. He played for Tubs at Cincinnati. Would've jumped at the chance to play for Auburn. Grew up an AU fan in Montevallo. Gus didn't recruit him.

Yes this OL is terrible but look at the recruits we brought in last year and this years commits, it's not getting any better folks.

Even with time he’s missing receivers. He bails the second he feels pressure. You’d think daddy Nix would’ve taught him better.

He’s a 3* QB.

Nice work you Nix homers.

Didn’t see any yesterday that didn’t warrant bailing. Seemed like he stayed in the pocket the few times he actually had a clean one. I’d love to see what percent of passing plays (that weren’t quick hitters) resulted in a QB pressure.

ETA: Nix was the least of our issues yesterday. He and Tank were the only offensive players with the balls to put up a fight in that game. Everyone else just looked defeated.

The dude who can’t beat out Terry Wilson?

He's a pretty good QB. He has taken Kentucky to 10-3 record in previous season.
