I’m going to complain. So if you want rainbows and unicorns, move along.

After looking at the QB Monday night Tua and how Saban put game in freshman’s hands, I couldn’t help thinking of us.

It just feels like we’re never thinking about the next year or even the next game. So when we get injuries or lack of performance on offense, it kills us worse than other teams.

Watching our starting RB get 30 carries vs East Carolina has to stop.

If you listen to Bama fans, Saban should've been fired weeks ago for hanging onto Hurts.

Also I'm not exactly sure what your complaint is.

You can't compare an apple to a watermelon. Tua was the #32 ranked player nationally and the #1 DT QB. The only reason he wasn't ranked higher is because of his height...not his skill. If he'd been 6'3 he'd probably have been the #1 recruit in the country.

When has Auburn signed a kid like that who didn't pan out beside Cowart. Since RG churns out NFL DL over and over and has our DL in excellent shape for next season I suggest he should get the benefit of the doubt on that one.

My complaint is that young players don’t get enough playing time. We run the starters into the ground and have no continuity from year to year.

Which young players are you referring to? If you mean the RB, then I agree. However, I don't see that problem with any other position. I mean look at our DL rotations.

I’m just focused on offense.

Has been a problem with RB, QB, Oline, and to a lesser extent WRs

OL got some experience this year. And who plays multiple QB? Remember last time Gus tried that?

They do in the 2nd half against OOC little sisters of the poor. And most will usually flood the last one, once put away, with everyone who's bothered to show up everyday. INSTEAD OF SITTING ON A LEAD... it'd be nice to at least try to pad on some more with non-starters.

Yes. Saban had the "courage" to yank his 4 Star sophomore QB and replace him with a 5 Star freshman QB. That took guts.......

But, I get your point. We didn't play Willis or any of the RBs nearly enough and it cost us in the SEC Title game when Johnson went down.

Our WR rotations was like 7 guys.

Nobody rotates OL...thanks to injuries and general average play we managed to get 3 guys a lot of time and hopefully prepared them for next season.

RB...I would have loved to have seen the other guys more, but the coaches had some reason most of us probably will never know. It isn't just because they are stupid. The team with a healthy KJ was a million times better this season than any other time. JS was also better when KJ was in the game. IMO that had as much to do with it as anything. The Clemson game also played a role they couldn't afford to let JS go through that again.

QB...Nobody gets a ton of meaningful snaps for their back up QB. Few teams have a legit answer at back up.

If Gus had done what Saban did some would complain he didn't put in the freshman early enough. "We would have never lost that game if...."

I think I read that Alabama had 6 (SIX) true freshmen on the field during OT against Georgia...on the game winning drive.

Here is my biggest gripe.

When you want to develop a QB, you don’t put him in the game to just let him run read-option and hand the ball off in designed running plays. Let him pass. Let him read a defense. Let him develop chemistry with the receivers. Let him develop some pocket presence against real defenses.

If Bama has a RB go down they just plug in another and not skip a beat, a Auburn RB gets injured and the whole offense gets derailed. Gus should have the next guy ready to go and never does, he focuses on the elder player that is a starter and runs them into the ground.

Didn't they sign the highest rated class in history last year and a 5 star grey shirted.

It's easier to coach top 100 talent. Like Deon Sanders, you don't have to be a great cover corner when you are faster and quicker than everybody else.

You can't really compare Alabama to anyone. They literally have 5*s on the bench sitting behind other 5*s.

With that said. I do agree that Malzahn plays favoritism to upperclassmen. Or at least he has shown to do so in the past.

We need better depth at the skill positions and they need more reps in games.

Watching the Natty the other night Bama really took control of that game when they put Damien Harris in late in the 3rd or 4th qtr. He was fresh and explosive.

We just run KJ over and over and over and over.

And Devin Barrett got the occasional swing pass we wouldn't even let him take a handoff

On this note, if the situations were reversed I would really love to see the melt of Gus giving the ball to Scarbrough so much when you've got a guy like Haris averaging almost 8 ypc on the year
