get that, but maybe just maybe Deuce doesn’t hold the ball forever like the other 2

For most of the Kentucky game it looked to me like the ball barely got to them before the defense.

Granted I was extremely intoxicated 5 minutes into that abomination.

You could tell Hugh was just trying not to blow it against Arkansas and if malcolm had solid footing in the endzone he would've made the best play we've seen out of an AU qb in years.

Then against UK he was running for his life more than Bo Nix ever did.

We do not have game tape that let's us evaluate Ashton either way. But we have plenty on Jackson. This seems like a no brainer for Durkin.

Normally I agree, but out of the QB room, who would you like to return next season? There’s only one, Deuce.

ot a good look for the people that think Durkin is going to shake things up as HC. I’d start Deuce for the rest of the year and get ready for next season.

based on what... if deuce looks exponentially worse in practice, and in-game (small sample size) why would Durkin risk that?

He is coaching for a job. If he objectively decides that Deuce isn't ready yet, Deuce is trash for now.

Here is a wake-up call for you: Arnold was rated higher than Deuce Knight as a high school recruit.

You think I don’t know that?

I’m basing my opinion off of everyone that has watched practice and the WR room saying Deuce has the strongest arm and the most accurate. Also, the recruiting experts that report for Auburn come on podcasts and wonder why they’re not playing Deuce off of what they’ve seen too. And I’m not sure how you could trust the decision making of the offensive staff right now.

So we wait til next year to find out Deuce sucks?

You think putting the other two qbs out there with 3 yards a cloud of dust and 18 sacks, 6 field goals and a win.....gets Durkin the job.

Or the fact he actually tries something new and puts Deuce in there, says fck the slide and glide blocking, put Frazier in the backfield and have him shove the nose and DT up their arse when they try and double Kail on the inside, and lets roll.

Guys, why are you so in love with Deuce who has only ever had bad snaps at auburn the one drive he played.

Backup QB is the guy we all love, regardless.

Never expected any different. One guy runs the plays, one guy plays hero ball, and no matter how cool his name is, Deuce isn't ready.

Great chance we are replacing every qb on our roster for the second year in a row.

I don’t know of many people calling to throw Deuce in the fire this year, but the trajectory of the season has changed. Might as well drop the Deuce now.

Arnold’s “floor” is below the basement. I don’t wish to ever see him play again.

NIL is a useless thing.

Somebody else’s bench warmer for you to try out.

Sounds like if we don't play him, he'll portal out.

If we do play him and he sucks, he may lose his confidence and never play well, and portal out.

So either way, sounds like he's gone so...

Hear me now, believe me later. For about the 5th year in a row we have ZERO at QB. If anyone has watched any kind of football they know this to be true.

This is in large part why we have a coaching search

Give Deuce a shot against Mercer. Don't throw him in against one of the more fundamental defenses in the conference on the road.

They have NFL looks that you find it hard on what they are going to do at times. They do a great job.
