The guy was a very supbar passer with a ton of weapons at his disposal. He isn't a crazy dynamic runner either. He is a worse version of Jalen Hurts IMO.

Gatewood is a dynamic runner. I don’t care if we start him, run for 400 yards a game and don’t throw more than 12 passes, all go routes to Schwartz and fade routes to Williams. They’ll be wide open.

14-0, ship.

I want a 90's Nebraska offense in Auburn where we only pass around 15 times a game but bulldoze through with reckless abandon breaking opponents' will like the Huskers used to do. We almost had this in 2013 and I MISS it!

Maybe I just want us to have an identity. Period. Instead of all this pansy Mickey Mouse trickball wildcat whirlybird what's a tight end nonsense.

Absolutely. He's huge too.

Gus doesn't know what the frick he's doing. Look at Fitzgerald at Moo State.

I hate to break it to you guys but our OL is nowhere near good enough to do this. We are looking to bring a DT QB to mask our garbage line.

Glad people are finally seeing this, maybe Gus will also.

Nah. We’re going the Gruden route without the loving reach-around of draft picks. Until the GurseHearse is gone, I have no faith.

He will be the starter next year. Should've been playing already this year. The people that have ridden this kid off are going to be shocked when they see what he does without a non contact jersey on.

Yeah, Right!

Sorry, not interested in just a runner. THose kind of Qbs will never succeed against NC calibre teams.

And i'm not sure I want Kelly too. If he is not that much of passer, then I don't want this offense to revert back to a RO offense only.

I want a guy who can be a passing QB, with es capability and knows how to move around in the pocket but still make plays downfield.

Is Kelly eligible to play in 2019, if he signed with AU?

I didn't know he was graduating...

Gatewood doesn’t have to be just a runner. It doesn’t mean shite but he was MVP at the UA all star game and looked like a QB, not just an athlete playing QB. He looked tbe part of a dynamic DT quarterback that can throw just enough to keep defenses honest. Gus can work with that.

He’s not the best passer but he did throw for over 2,800 yards last year and completed about 66% of his passes.

If Gus stays, then I want. If we fire Gus as I expect, then it depends on who we get, but he would not be coming to sit on the bench.

Stidham would have to transfer or go pro for Bryant to come.

I still like Stidham and only blame Gus.

2 time National Champ and QB of the greatest team ever 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers says "That's quite incorrect, sir."
So does Tim Tebow.

Nick Marshall had us on the brink of the NC and it's definitely not his fault we lost.

Same for Jalen Hurts.

It can work.
