I will never understand why coaches are going for 2 in that situation more often. AU needed 2 more scores so wait till you get the last TD needed to go for 2.

No doubt both lines are garbage. Just saying I can see potential if put in a position to actually succeed

Doesn't matter .....Chad's route would have been three yards short anyway.

OK Guys ! On sides kick time! send out the 300 lb tight ends!

Would be fine with Bo Nix never wearing an AU jersey again.

Nix has accuracy issues (possibly from poor coaching and having to run for his life too often), but you can’t say that he doesn’t have heart.

Agreed. Nix needs some tough love and coaching. Hopefully Harsin is the guy

Lots of people have heart and passion. Doesn't mean they should be QB at AU.

ETA

And we are talking about a guy that is going into his third year and will be 21 this year. We know what he offers.

Nix definitely has potential and talent.

The window is getting very small for pulling it out of him though.

Next year is his year to prove it.

I agree. Kinda shocked to see it. The play call though, woof. Why can’t we through a slant or even a drag?

In other news, I expect this team is in for a soul searching off season. This team needs a dose of mental toughness. After my freshman season, I transferred to a program that was pre season top 5, and ended up 3-7. We had a lot of “me first” players. We went through hell that off season, but we got rid of all of the dead wood. We went on to do things that stood until North Dakota St broke them.
I know that we’re not 3-7 bad, but a hard off season will be just what the doctor ordered.

It will help us “get our edge back, and everything that goes with that.” Hahahahahahahahaha. I’m sorry. Couldn’t resist.

He has been prepped his whole life. His dad was the OC at Ga Tech and Miami. He is what he is.

I don’t really know how you can watch this game (and several other games this year) and the takeaway be that Bo Nix doesn’t have it but for some reason that’s the only thing anybody seems to see. He is not a world beater nor will he ever be but you can win with him. This is a broken system.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills and maybe I am.

What does he do that tells you he can play the position? Accuracy? Decision making?

Bo has three more years in front of him. This year doesn't count remember?

He will have a coach that actually works with Quarterbacks and will have a staff that can put an actual game plan together.

We'll see how Bo looks at the end of next year with a spring, summer and Fall under his belt with someone that do the job.
