Meh - hire for Auburn
We all knew Gus wasn't going to give up play calling.
Nor adapt his already perfect system.
Plus Chad will work doubly hard to beat Arkansas.
So it's good he already knows the entire playbook - both pages - inside and out
And the play calling system.
And there'll be little friction since he's also from the same coaching tree + just a little Dabo
Plus he's also failed bad enough that he'll probably work extra hard.
He'll also be perfectly fine taking a job that's only good for two years.
And he knows coming in that Gus is going to take all credit for whatever ends favorably and none for what doesn't.

The only thing I really worry about is he had shitty relationship with his players at Arky and SMU. They hated his arse.
Here the players love the coaches so hopefully he doesn’t turn them off and the culture rubs off on him
