Not sure how accurate this will be... Auburn comes in at #32.
But what catches my eye is how many seemingly winnable games we've got on the schedule this season:
FCS Samford at home
#130 Southern Miss at home
#53 Baylor at home (sort of)
#51 Miss State on the road
#49 Arkansas at home
#36 Vanderbilt at home
Five of our 6 easiest games are at home. If we take care of business and win in Starkville, we're looking at a floor of 6-6 which would be an obvious improvement from the Harsin/Freeze era.
Then we've got these games remaining to try to have a real turn-around season:
#22 Florida at home
#17 Tennessee on the road
#13 Alabama on the road
#13 Ole Miss on the road
#10 LSU at home
#5 Georgia on the road
I can't understate how massive a win over Florida would be. If we could start 4-0 we'd be heading into Knoxville a week after they've had to play Texas. It would be so nice to have an old school Auburn vs Tennessee game with both schools ranked in the Top 25.

Not to be a Debby Downer but did anyone ever think that we would be hopeful for a 6-6 year.

Here are QBs that we will face this year:
Samford - Johnson - 2025 Oregon State
Southern Miss - Hampton - 2025 Illinois
Vanderbilt - Curtis - New
Arkansas - Jackson - 2025 Arky (1 start)
UTK - Macintyre - 2025 UTK (No starts So effectively New)
UF- Philo - 2025 Ga Tech - Backup (1 career start so effectively New but has system experience.)
Cowbell Express - Taylor (2025 2 career starts. So new but system experience)
Baylor - Lagway (UF 19 starts, experienced but new system)
bama - Russell (New some playing time in the system)
LSU - Leavitt - (ASU multi year, but new to the O)
UgA - Stockton - you know the drill
Ole Sis - Chambliss - you know the drill
So looking at the above there are effectively new QBs in 5 of the programs we will face. They will be new to that offense as well.
3 that have been in the system but are new. - bama, UTK & Arky
2 that are experienced but are in new offenses - LSU & Baylor
2 that have multiple starts at their place.- uga & Ol Sis (don't know if their O will be different)
I realistically see us at 7-8 wins depending on how our D holds up then a bowl game. I think the core of our O will be fine. Experienced players at many key areas showing the others how the culture & work ethic is needed. I think with some breaks we can be realistically on the 8-9 level & hit a good bowl game.
