I’d rather keep Rosen as a falcons fan. Yea Cam is better but if Ryan goes down it’s fricked anyways. I’d rather have someone who has even a .000001% chance of being the future

Goes to show you these coaches that 'coach speak' when they talk. All during the last 2 weeks, they talked he was still the starter....
I figured Cam would get beat out by a better passing QB who is a #1 pick, but surprised he wasn't kept.
I guess Stidham is back in line as a backup?

Pats salary cap wasn't an issue this year.
Cam just didn't cut it for Belichick. Jones had a great pre-season. Cam didn't. I frankly don't know that he'll ever be a starter in the league again.

Oh, I agree. I was responding to Steeler's questioning why Cam wasn't retained as backup.

I thought it was a weird pairing from the get go, but hopeful it would benefit Cam in some way, but I agree, it looks like Cam may be done as a starter and maybe even just done.
