When will you clowns learn it’s not the quarterback, at least not primarily

Byrum "Brady" Brown. Is 7 interceptions bad?
What about 186 yds rushing - not great but not horrible.

I'm tired of rushing QBs that refuse to hand off the ball with speed. This team has no tempo like the last 5 years.

Is Keihl Frazier out of eligibility?

It's funny. The knock on Arnold was he took too many sacks. He started turning the ball over as the season wore on too though. Not like Brown, dude just loves throwing to the other team.

We are a terrible program for recruiting and developing QB talent.

With 4 completely different coaching staffs. It makes no sense. It's almost like a prerequisite for a new hire.

You're right, good QBs don't come here.
Thorne was a turnover machine at Michigan State and continued to be one here.
Finley was just underwhelming all around. Nobody was particularly excited for him.

Almost every QB, save for maybe Finley but he was never supposed to play anyway, was better before coming and better after leaving. At some point you have to look in the mirror.

Might as well recruit a DB to come in and run around

And guess what? Next year we will have some other teams reject at QB, another rag tag bunch of C-USA quality "offensive" linemen and similar results. We just can't escape this.

Honestly, Brown pisses me off.
But the one consistent thread for the past several years and coaches, and a big reason why Nix left, is because we have had total disaster Olines for a decade+ at this point.
Fix the trenches, fix the game. It's really that simple.

Sure it does.

A lot of college football programs struggle with QB and OL.
Not a lot a college football programs (until recently), play elite programs Alabama and Georgia every year.
Take away Alabama and Georgia and we are "normal."

You are probably right about the bammer UGA thing but…
We should never be this far behind them. Or UTk, LSU, or UF. NEVER!!!!!
But I don’t want an easier schedule. Auburn for most of its history played bammer, UGAy, tennerC, and the gaytors every season. It was the 1980’s before Tennessee and Bama even played in Auburn.
Don’t forget who we are in the down turn. We will be back.

shite man, we fire coaches because they cant consistently beat UGA and Bama. You know, the best two programs in football for a good while.

thUGA was not one of the best teams when GusShortBus was HC. He lost to a 6-6 Kirby in Kirby’s first year as a HC.
And DeBoner has been blown out by multiple mediocre teams since taking over uat.

Just giving my explanation of why we might look like a terrible program instead of average.
I'd still fire coaches for being even average at Auburn.
