He doesn’t deserve it but it’s going to squash that precious win percentage of his that MRAuburnTigers kept chirping about while helping strengthen Auburn’s assets for the next move.

I think it will get covered. This is how I'm feeling about him getting canned right now:

I hope we fire Harsin and hire Lane. I'm tired of this BS.

I’m assuming LCT possibly could be hearing the same names for the coaching search but I’m asking him now who he’s heard.

I haven't heard shite about the coaching hire.

All I have on that is my opinions.

Personally I think the whole Deion thing would be nice, but I believe he sticks with Jackson State for at least another year or two. He wants to make an HBCU a power 5 threat, and his son is also only a sophomore I believe. I know tough hill to climb, but he's said that on several occassions, and I don't doubt he'll threaten to have a high recruiting class next year.

Again, he said he’s reporting what he has been told.

Bryan Harsin could still be fired before the end of the season, but those behind the scenes are scared that it wouldn’t be just Bryan Harsin leaving if that were to happen.

I just don't understand this at all. Who cares if his Boise boys leave? We have plenty of off field staffers capable of filling roles to complete the staff in a lost season.

I’m cool with the Potato Gang all leaving at once.

I wish they could get the language out of future contracts that doesn't allow for any other positions to be demoted to.

It'd be funny to have Harsin handing out water bottles next year.

If we are being honest, there isn't really a coach or current recruit that would hurt if they left/decommited. We have been losing anyway. Caddy can blow a 2nd half lead as well as Harsin.

I'm certain it has been fun for our conference mates to watch.

It's times like now that I realize I didn't enjoy the Price and Shula era nearly enough

2 weeks or 2 months isn’t going to make a huge difference in the big picture.

The next coach has to be given 3 years just to get the roster even comparable to the upper half of the SEC. We will be 3 recruiting cycles behind at this December’s signing period. Yes the portal can help but it won’t be the miracle that some expect for a turnaround. So possibly 2025 we can go toe to toe with Bama and UGA if we have a strong staff and really good recruiting starting in the late signing period this year and the next 2 recruiting cycles. We aren’t horrible at talent but we lose a lot of experience this year and not much talent behind them

Screw all this when will he be fired. Just get him gone. Then let's focus on getting Prime on the Plains. I like that, sounds good, doesn't it?

Attributes our next coach must have:

Recruiting

Good coach
Good staff

I would just add “a good coach who can recruit good players and a good staff who can recruit good players while consistently recruiting good players- especially really good linemen.”
