Nothing to back this up, but I’m guessing he’s transferring.

It's true, however, that the transfer portal completely changes things. Players loved Dye in '92, but unless they were draft-eligible they didn't have a lot of options but to stick it out with Bowden. Harsin won't have that luxury.

My best friend played on those teams. 2 years fir Dye, 2 years for Tot. That was a crazy transition.

He may be open to the idea of transferring, but I have a hard time believing he’s already made up his mind unless he is just really unhappy.

Id be real unhappy if I’d just spent a season running behind that shitty arse offensive line

Didn’t we just learn this lesson. Nobody knows shite. I like watching Jay G, but I don’t believe anything he reports.

I won’t be judging him at all for a full two seasons and wish him the beat.

Our OLine recruiting is on par with low tier D1. I hope he can do something with Bo happy feet and I haven’t seen a pocket that I like nix.

The portal and overall transfer rules cut both ways... will be a lot easier to bring in relatively seasoned new blood, but have to get the staff in place asap.

I'd go after Helinski from USCe. But he might prefer a school where he is guaranteed the starting spot, dunno.

Plus we have to remember from our past. Transfer are a temporary fix. Bringing them in and using them fixes one problem but creates another.

E has stated we will hit the transfer hard for RB and OL. Hars is not confident in the talent we have on the roster.

Watching other teams compete makes me miss the days of old. I hope the new reign will bring that back. Compete hard, play to the end, adjust during the game. I am tired of the blowouts and not being competitive. Even when we win it still isn't a great feeling..

Tank doesn't want to deal with a new coaching staff.

Well, transferring will guarantee he "deals with a new coaching staff". (I see I wasn't the only one to find that ironic after reading through the thread) Is he gonna follow Cadillac around like a lost puppy? What if Caddy doesn't get another college job. What if he goes back to IMG?

Gonna give the guy two years before getting overly critical. Gus has really left a shitshow especially at OL. A good OLman takes two-three years to develop.

I believe if Transferring within the SEC the. The SEC would also have to grant immediate eligibility if you leave, so Tank would take a risk within the SEC.

What we know.

1. Tank has COVID
2. Tank hasn’t entered the portal or made any comment regarding it
3. Jay G clamored for Steele

The good thing is the transfer portal is wide open and there's some talent there. Think Harsin has a pretty good eye for it too.
