I’d be afraid of Cristobal leaving us for Miami if we did hire him. Fleck is an intriguing guy as well. I still like Les Miles too.

Miami is a dead end. Cristobal may feel that pull at times but there are a ton of reasons coaches with purported interest in Miami (Richt, Tuberville) didn't leave bigger, better programs for Coral Gables.

Urban would be the only one on that list who I feel confident would be better than Gus.

I'd be done if Urban ever walked the sidelines in Jordan-Hare in Auburn colors.

Are you not tired of the mediocrity we currently have? I think it’s worth a shot.

I am genuinely confused - why wouldn’t Stoops have better offers than this????

Rather have a more established coach to be frank... no more learn on the job types

Why is this thread even being bumped? Like him or not, accept that Gus is the coach. Favorable schedule this year with Morris in the mix, will probably have him though 2021 as well.

I remember a lengthy thread on Auburn eagle or Aufamily that Les Snead and Fischer wanted to be a package deal as AD and coach after the Chizik firing, went for30 pages, anyone remember that?

Karibi Dede lands first on field coaching job at Colorado State.

Rocker really moves around a lot.

6 different SEC teams in last 17 years. He only has 8 more SEC teams to go(unless we add more teams...:)

I remember the Fisher/Snead thread

Fleck reminds me so much of Bruce. I'd love to have him

For every Bruce or Ed O, though, you have 5 Butch Jones

How easily folks forget all the "can't miss" hires that ended in complete and utter disappointment.

Should also be pointed out that O was a can’t miss hire at Ole Miss. He was hired at Ole Miss and didn’t work out there.
