"Well, it's definitely my school," Nix said Monday on The Next Round radio program in Birmingham, when asked if he plans to return to Auburn in 2022. "I'm graduating in a couple weeks; I'll have graduated in three years, and that was my goal coming in. So Auburn is definitely my school, and I think it will always be my school. But obviously, right now, I'm just trying to get healthy. I'm not sure what next year looks like. I've got to get my ankle better first and make sure I can play and get back to my normal self."

If the players and coaches read the crap on this board ...We may as well start playing intramural flag football in Jordan Hare.

This fricking guy. Is he going to transfer from Auburn? Is that where his head is at?

Sounds somewhat like he’s considering being done with football altogether.

Seems to be an overreaction from his injury, which didn’t seem career threatening.

Maybe Pat is getting the Troy job and he want to go play for him and cuss him out on the sidelines one more season

I will never understand the hate some have for Bo.

If you don’t think he’s good? Fine. I get that. But why hate the kid that clearly loves Auburn and has worked his tail off to get better and done everything that’s asked of him?

Agree.

He's said nothing to tell him 'good riddance'.

Yall better start kissing his arse on social media and play nice. If we come into next year with TJ Finley at QB 6 wins will seem like a pipe dream.

If Bo leaves, Harsin surely will go to the portal to bring in another veteran QB to compete with finley.

I don't see Geriner being asked come to in and compete for No 1.

This. Bo takes entirely to much criticism. The guy may not have been the Heisman QB that we had hoped for, but he is still a solid QB. Obviously he is alot better than what's behind him and we need him to come back next year.

I am not sure his status just like you all. There are lots of possibilities. But if he did, it would serve a big portion of the fan base well.

They have treated him like shite since he has been here. Kid was born to be here, has wanted to be here his entire life and a big portion of the fan base has shite on him from day one

If he leaves, good for him.

Until we can find a better QB, I want Bo playing in orange and blue. Anyone who thinks otherwise, please explain yourself.

John Samuel Shenker told The Drive (radio) he is exploring options on possibly returning. He will not play baseball either. He wants to concentrate on football. Per Bryan Matthews.

This will be nice.

From the linked article:
quote:

"My ultimate goal is to play in the NFL," Nix said. "So depending on that, obviously that's got a lot to do with it, moving on in the future. Then looking back, we’ll just see what’s going on, what has changed, and then make a decision from there."
He's definitely planning on playing in 2022 if healthy.

The question is where.

Agree.

I was not a big Bo fan this year but I appreciated how hard he fought and knew he just wanted Auburn to win. I wish him well and if he came back I wish him well.

Agree. Dude gave it his all for us for 3 straight years. I hope he realizes his dream. If he can do it from here great but if not then I wish him well as he will always be a Tiger!
