Yeah, the BigXII was solidly the 2nd best conference behind the SEC this past season. He at least saw some good competition on a decent team. So he knows what it is like to be in the Big games.

Until CBM signs with someone else, he’s still an option. Bruce may have told him to go see if he can get more somewhere else.

It sucks as fans but i have no issue with a kid trying to maximize their value. Not like CBM has a lucrative NBA career ahead of him, this is his peak earning potential

The thing that sucks is there are occasions where more money isn’t the best thing for you. This is the situation with Chad.
I don’t say this often, but I think Chad leaving is a mistake and one he may end up regretting later in life.

Good pick up. At least the roster is starting to come together.
And Chad made a huge mistake imo. I doubt he's going to get the money he's looking for and very few coaches will put up with his attitude. He was in the perfect spot for him.

Freeman isn’t just some D2 guy you hope translates to high major ball. He’s a legit NBA prospect, had scouts at many of his games down the stretch. Averaged 30 & 17 in the D2 semi and final. UT wanted him badly.
He will be good, the D2 translation question is just how good?
