How much length and height are we adding to the roster next year besides Bashir?

Magwood: 6’1 G (so about like Pettiford)
Walker: 6’5 SG
Bashir: 6’7 SF/SG

This portal stuff works so fast, my head hurts. Too many players to keep up with, can't imagine the hours staff's have to put into these evaluations not knowing what the mind of twenty year olds are thinking (other than money for most I'm sure). All the while, trying to find the right players that fit your program not only from a scheme / talent level but also team culture. But it's also fun to think about building a new roster, especially with Bruce and staff in charge.

All of that puts into perspective how difficult it can be to assemble a compatible roster that makes sense and how easy it is to miss pretty badly. The "missing" part could, in reality, have nothing to do with the amount of effort and work that went into putting a roster together.
I think we are entering an era where patience is going to be a true virtue. Some very good coaches can have bad seasons just because they were unlucky with what they took/got from the portal. We saw that play out this season, and we also saw it play out the other direction, as well.
Interesting times.

The HC and staff are being paid enormous sums of money to keep up with the chaos. BP is being paid ~$16,000/day

We have 7-9 mill for a roster next season. I don't think we'll be for someone we truly want.

As soon as we are done winning the NC, we need to put full court press on Caleb Holt. He is originally from New Market, same as Denver Jones, but plays for Grayson. Top 5 talent in 2026 class who we need to lock down. Saw him play and he is going to be a baller. He is a bit raw but has great size and could be dominant.
