Duke is probably going to pass us at some point. They’re playing cupcakes the rest of the season. They’re going to blow out a lot of teams.

That's okay. They don't want any of this Auburn team at a neutral site.

I agree but Duke has a much much easier path going forward and holds the head to head for the South region 1 seed. I think our Q1 wins would hold us up higher if it’s close but it would be great to play the 2nd weekend In Atlanta.

Granted a long way to go before any of that

That day around 11 years ago was probably one of the best days of my life and he still exceeded expectations.

Other coaches you have to be afraid to get attached to them because you dont know if they will make it. Bruce was just too easy. We basically lucked into a Nick Saban.

All of the upvotes. Liked seeing all of the great players, many of whom only had a year with BP

EDIT: Wondering if this winter storm could make the travel up to SC tough this weekend?

I might go, but I need a closer forecast.

I’m near Augusta so it’s not far.

Not interested in icy roads.

Hoping for a crisp 20 point win that satisfies even AUUSCgrad

He will complain about missing the front end of a 1 and 1 in the first half and how we should have won by 25 easily

Some really good offense early. Defensive intensity leaving some to be desired

JUCO player, Abdul Bashir, is visiting Feb 8. He’s averaging 28 ppg in JUCO which is nuts for any competition level.

If the last name sounds familiar it’s because his brother, Abdi, is by far the best player from Monmouth who BP had a nice little chat with during the handshake line. Abdi is averaging 21.5 at Monmouth fyi.

The Bashir brothers would be quite the scoring duo. I'm more curious what we are going to do at the 5. Bruce seemed friendly with the Georgia State 7 footer who was good offensively but didn't seem very engaged defensively.

If we do end up having a couple of players who can some back because of the JUCO rule the guard spots could be crowded. I'm way more interested in which big men we can we get.

I’m sure he’s one they’re keeping an eye on. If there is one area I trust Bruce in implicitly it’s getting guys to play hard defensively. It may not always translate into great defense, but he gets guys to put the effort in.

Help me out, who else besides CBM could possibly come back?

I'm seeing 2 freshman coming back (Tahaad and Howard), with 3 new freshman coming in (2 guards and a forward).

Looks like we could have 7-8 transfer spots to fill.

If Bashir bros both came to Auburn + Magwood, Pettiford, CBM, Kelly.. you’d basically be set at the 1-3 though so it would be nice to not even have to think about those spots anymore

But I don’t necessarily expect CBM back even if the JUCO ruling comes out in his favor

I thought I heard about someone else who could come back. Maybe Denver?
