Thanks for reminding me. Still we have at a minimum 20 games to go before selection and seeding is done.
I agree through November and December we are clearly the best team in the country.

True but barring something unforeseen the potential margins between us, Bama, UT, Duke, maybe even Florida could be razor thin all competing to get the top seed in that Atlanta bracket.

I agree. That’s why yes we can look ahead and wish but we haven’t secured that top seed yet and won’t for a long time. We have a great opportunity and as fans we should definitely enjoy the run we are on but it’s a long season. I want to win every game and we have a chance to do that.

If we do indeed go 15-3 surely we are the number 1 overall seed, sec champions. No clue on the SEC tournament.

I don’t think anyone will be going 15-3. Would be awesome but the SEC is too deep. Going to be a gauntlet.

Well, last one tonight till conf play. I'll be honest, I was thinking heading into this season that we could drop 3-4 games with the non conf schedule that has been played. They proved me wrong and put everyone on notice that they belong at the top.
Really looking forward to the rest of the games and smacking around a few of our conference rivals.
You ask any AU fan 15 years ago what the future of Tiger basketball was and bleak doesn't begin to describe it. We truly are in the golden age of AU basketball. This season is shaping up to be a special one. Stay healthy, stay hungry Tigers and who knows what March could bring.

My head says 14-4 for the conference record but what the hell…
I’m predicting 16-2. Frick it let’s go!!!

We already are after his brother according to a bunker poster.
Abdul Bashir
I kind of feel like Bruce may have scheduled his game to get a look at him in person.

I think if Bruce gets his way the Bashir twins will be wearing orange and blue next season. Abdul is averaging over 20 points a game at juco right now.

Both of them are shooting over 40% at high volume from 3

Abdi and Abdul Bashir are going to come play for Mr. Israel? I'd be pretty surprised by that.

Some folks on X were talking about that. Said that Bruce's politics / religion and other schools possibly negatively recruiting with that may hurt since they are muslim?

Opportunity to play significant minutes at a top program will be more important than worrying about politics. The minutes will be there for both of them

I think that’s fair, Randy. And also beyond my scope of knowledge
Bruce and Abdi didn’t seem to have much animosity after the game, and I think as usual with all of us, they have more common ground than not.
Switching gears slightly, Bruce has found success with top draft guys and without. I think they’re scouting lower levels as well as anyone right now and the continuity lends itself to knowing what they need. I’d love transfers from top programs in order to tap into that talent but we’ve had consistency without it

Bruce for a few years now has had the ability to get players whether they are super stars or average players to play hard on both ends of the court.
Now we can’t just go get a mid major roster and become SeC champs with effort. But he has definitely been found guys to accept their roles and become very good at those roles

We saw sports take the back burner once. I'd hate it for these 4* athletes to see their investments dry up once yellaman realizes shitcoin is a better investment than those pimpleheaded numnuts
