Maybe Steven isnt the answer

I’m still hopeful that things will brighten up for JP. He looks like he’s not comfortable out there. Playing tight. He went from being probably option 1 on the Furman team to option 4/5 with starters here. Now he’s option 9/10.

quote:Agreed. He looks tentative and unsure with everything he does. Unfortunately, I don’t see that likely improving once conference play starts. Maybe a light bulb can come on in the next couple of weeks, but it seems unlikely.

At times he’s hesitant.
I’m not sure how to get his confidence back.
He’s played lots of basketball, and I think he can help us.
I’m sure he wants to contribute more than any of us.
You can do it JP. Let it flow. Be the ball.

He might've helped but those players wanted to play for Bruce.

I'm fine if we go to Steven after BP but it's more out of gratitude for BP than it is excitement for Steven
I am a lot more confident he could be successful now than I was a few years ago though. He's clearly an integral part of one of the best programs in the country. Not sure he could close on recruits without daddy in tow.

he's too old for the light to just "come on". You can tell in his footwork he has zero confidence and is just lost out there. Insane that a guy with that much experience looks like that. Even against the lesser competition.
At this point I'm ready to pull the plug on the Pegues experiment- at least against P4 competition. His minutes are costly - we probably beat Duke if he just doesn't see the floor.

He couldn't at least try his hand elsewhere at Auburn junior for a bit so we can see what he can do? I get gratitude but I would rather just give him keys to the city. It's a risk for anyone but Pearl has put us on the map for better. Not even Bucky?

I think Bucky will already have a long term job by then

Still at number 2 in the AP. Writers continue to show how stupid they are.
Crazy to think for 100+ years nerd writers decided who was the best football team each year

They definitely aren’t good. A weak ACC will ultimately help their record though and I think get them on the right side of the bubble.

Broome hurt his shoulder. Looks not good.

The fact he’s not in a sling and they’re waiting until the half to evaluate him makes me feel better.
Posted on 12/17/24 at 7:56 pm to AA7
Hand in his pocket was like a sling. Maybe it's just sublexed and not completely dislocated.

CBM was a juco. Can our legal team lawsuit the NCAA if we want to try to get him back?
