Yes they have been calling that a tech all year, surprised it wasn't called. That said from their perspective, would have been worth it. Also it in no way justifies what Chad did later

When he feels like he is being treated unfairly, he gets violent and gets teched up and ejected. Happens every year.
We must be able to control our emotions. He needs to learn that. If not, we will see him on TV one day with cuff on
He needs to be taught a lesson and not be caudled.
It sucks for the team but its true

And if you are an opposing coach, you would be remiss in not trying to exploit this. Put in a second stringer to get him riled up. Seen it happen in football many times when my older brother was playing

More thoughts on CBM situation.
First, we can’t seem to agree to the extent of what the opposition is doing to him. In one thread we go from he’s flopping/being a puss to teams are stupid if they don’t try to bait him. So which is it? We don’t see all that is going on, only what gets reviewed. What we have observed is that when CBM is on the receiving end, the other guy gets the benefit of the doubt, while CBM doesn’t. While CBM not getting the benefit of the doubt is fair with his past transgressions, I’m not sure how fair it is that the other guy always gets the benefit of the doubt. IF it’s as we say and other teams are constantly trying to bait him, the refs have to be aware of that, and have a quick whistle both ways. I liken it to MLB whenever there’s a beanball war brewing. The umps don’t give a damn who started what, they are issuing warnings to both teams. I feel like the refs could have done a lot more to nip these situations in the bud, and I do NOT agree with the apparent approach of waiting for CBM to hang himself. That is just bad game management, and it is singling out a player, which is unprofessional for an official in any sport.
Second point is, if the opposition is truly constantly trying to bait him, could his teammates be doing more to have his back, especially when the refs have shown they are not going to call it evenly? I’m pretty old school when it comes to this stuff…one hard foul by one of his teammates, who has a longer leash than CBM, on whichever designated opposition player is in his grill would go a long way toward putting a stop to it.

That is what happened in the Oklahoma game. Fishback called it out as soon as Fears threw the little elbow. CBM acted a bit, but that should have been a F1 on Fears. It wasn't, and things escalated from there. Another issue in that game was the Fears leg kick out on a jumpshot that caught Miles in the nuts was ruled incidental, even though the same type play had been ruled an F2 in two games a week or two prior to that.
All of that and the eventual near scuffle could have been prevented if they had called a F1 on the first Fears elbow. Fish said as much as soon as it went to review.

Yes or no.

No i absolutely love nick Fairley

but a love tap to the back of the head and he should be suspended for weeks?
hypocritical much?

Nick Fairley played a violent game and beautifully toed the line and being a menace and dirty. The only time he really crossed it and hurt his team was the late hit to Murray with the crown of his helmet on a big third down.
Chad has hurt his team numerous times including multiple ejections and in massive spots and moments. Framing what he did Saturday as a love tap is some liberal bullshite logic like calling abortion women's healthcare.
I never said he should be suspended for weeks for that or any one insurancei said Bruce should have done it weeks ago so that we hopefully wouldn't still be dealing with this and he would actually learn a lesson.
Even further, i could have deal with all the bs if he wasn't a soccer flopping puss himself. He sucks dude dwi, the fact he plays for auburn doesn't change that.
