He wasnt the only one that dicked around yesterday. Where did our capable shooters and defenders go? Broome scored 34 to finish his career inside Neville with an L. It is clear that despite having game experience in tight games our kids still dont know to play in tight games.

Miles Kelly was responsible for 5 turnovers but *Crickets* when it comes to the other critical players that also absolutely sucked. BIG CBM FIXATION

So where are we at on wanting him next year. He would be a tremendous hold if you ask me.

The team as a whole played bad yesterday.

I want CBM another year. I’m completely confused how this dude can’t get it together though. He knows he’s under a microscope, fair or not. He’s a huge part of our team.

It’s not Ok to treat a player differently. AU fans should back our guy and not pile on and justify he should be treated differently. The message should be clear-

CBM is being targeted by other teams and refs are allowing it. Then any contact from CBM players are flopping and refs are taking the bait. It’s bullshite and needs to stop.

Pretty sure CBM is getting Anti-Bruce treatment.

An article on MSN is called "An Auburn Star Shows His True Colors"

Time to dig in.

He takes pride in being able to operate at such an elevated pace.

eta: And I'm thinking youngblood and oats used it against him. It's not hard to bait him into fouling out.

I didn't see MSM doing UNC favors by being Anti Grayson Allen platforms.

We held Bama to 79 points. That's a very strong defensive effort.

Our top 7 scorers were all right at, or above, their season averages except for 1. I'll let you figure out who.

If we play like we did yesterday then we will go far in the tourney. Y'all just need to accept bama is a final four type team.

Weren't they picked preseason to win the SEC championship?

They have arguably the highest ceiling of any team in the country. The loss "that never should have happened" was losing to A&M they are so mid but we didn't compete.

I don’t buy that. He wants to be treated equally then he has to act equally. I didn’t watch the game yesterday till the second half, but going back and look at the highlights, looked totally unnecessary. It’s hard to treat him the same as everyone else cause this is not a first time.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^is the thing that troubles me.

We closed out the season with the 2 worst games we have played all year.
Hopefully that will light a fire under their asses.

The A&M game was pathetic, we've played a dozen games worse than the game we played yesterday.

I could see it coming a mile away. In the first match up, Youngblood and CBM got into it and CBM bitch slapped the shite outta him after YB pushed him out of bounds.

YB got into it with CBM as payback with a few well placed elbows with force while performing the no look foul. Did it several times. One got reviewed, no foul. No call on the second one and you knew CBM was going to blow up.

When he feels like he is being treated unfairly, he gets violent and gets teched up and ejected. Happens every year.

Refs should have called the foul on YB and this never would have happened. BP also has to do a better job of spotting it and pulling CBM to prevent the blow up.

Agreed, we played a solid game yesterday. A&M and UF are by far the worst performances of the year.

We didnt play a bad game. Bama had a better game plan against us and won a buzzer beater. We missed our buzzer beater, they made theirs.

Petty should have gotten the final shot, not Broome

Agreed. One thing I’ve consistently thought Pearl leans too far into letting his players figure things out on the court instead of using timeouts and things a little more strategically. I get it you want the guys to learn, but you also need to understand that a guy that’s been around that long is just going to be that. You’ll have to manage it. Same when teams start getting hot on us, we rarely call a strategic timeout.

I understand his philosophy, I just think he swings a bit too far in that direction and we could use a little more balance in that regard.
