If his ignorant arse would have worried about how to break a GD press the last 2 days he wouldn’t be chasing their asses.

We took foot off gas up 16
we kept turning it over and let them back in the game..........then we waited too late to start pressing them.
Our FT shooting continues to break our backs also.

Was there and the replay in the arena was clear the ball was out of his hand at 0.1. Pearl was trying to chase the refs down to show them on the tablet. No idea what angle they were looking at on their monitor but the big board showed it 3 or 4 times and everyone in there knew it was good including the A&M contingent behind their bench.
With all those basketball players and coaches getting arrested for gambling, it’s absolutely unacceptable that all the angles aren’t televised.

Seriously doubt the refs were looking at potato footage while the arena has different footage

The backboard light goes on with the ball in his hand.
The backboard light and the small clock in the corner of the tv screen were not in sync.

The wide angle looked like a made basket. It was also the most potato shot.
The behind the play angle looked cleaner but hand to ball area was too fuzzy. Not to mention how can that angle show the slightest ball separation from behind the play.
I dont see how anybody can overturn anything on those two angles. But I continue to see calls overturned based on nothingness in multiple sports involving not just Auburn but other teams as well. I dont get the rules.

To the fans at the game throwing stuff at the refs on their way off the court:

Auburn apparently didn't waste any time contacting the SEC office to protest the ending of the game. they supposedly delayed the post game press conference about 30 minutes while in conversation with the SEC office. Pearl said that him and Cohen were going to be having more conversations with the SEC office during the week.

They should talk about ways to break a press defense while they’re at it.

At the end of the day what matters is our coaches let a 16 point lead with 12 minute left turn into a 10 point defecit with 4 mins left.

That’s insane and a sign of a team with poor discipline.

Insanity. I go to bed early and miss the game. Wake up to find we shite the lead and had a buzzer beater overturned
Why does this happen with Auburn in every sport now fam?

It doesn’t do anything. Until they start changing the W/L column with an * , it’s all for null

If Auburn had an adequate PG on the roster, we win that game by 10 or more.
I want to blame the coach, but who's he going to put out there to handle the ball? We don't have anyone.
I turned the game off with about 5 minutes left and went to bed. That collapse was awful, but I felt it could happen because we just don't have a guy that can get the ball and settle things down and get a bucket.
That will likely prevent us from making the tourney.
It's been a great run, but roster building must be much better next year or Steven is gonna be in trouble.

So AMs roster is that much better than ours?

Not sure on aTm's roster. I didn't know many of those kids. I wish we had gotten Lane. He would have helped.
Their style of play is going to give teams who don't have a solid guard play fits.
Our roster is made up of a bunch of 2's and 3's. We have a 4 or 2 as well. We have zero 5's and zero 1's. It's a huge problem. It was evident in game 1.
I understand Jovic is hurt now as well?

No they aren't that much better imo.
It didn't actually seem like there was a huge disparity in big man play in the game.
Hall did his thing but A&M came together down the stretch and the known AU defensive flaws showed up.

I have a really hard time watching this team play ball. Hall is an absolute dog though.
