There is no way any school will have 15 players on scholarsihp and contributing and happy. It's impossible.
Playing 10 is hard. Playing more is basically not possible.
Not sure how anyone adapts to this.

We have to figure out a way to guard Sears and not foul him. If he shoots 10 to 12 FT we're in trouble.
They have been starting 3 6'11" guys at the 3, 4 and 5. I think that may give us more issues than their guards.

We were bad at the rim for some reason. UGA was big though so I'm assuming they were most of the problem.
We were 20-40 on layups and free throws and won. Kinda crazy if you think about it.
UGA was 9-20 at the line.

Only 11 TO's. We missed about 10 layups and were 12-20 from the line which make it close.
Big win. Need to get healthy.

Did mucho dirty work last night. Was fun to watch. CBM and Chaney both were huge as well.

I never thought this would happen either. I never thought a Final Four was possible.
It's funny...on that run to the Final Four my kid played baseball in Memphis one weekend, Cullman one weekend and Oxford, AL the next.
I went to Memphis because we were staying with family in their house and his games didn't conflict with the Auburn games.
The next weekend the games in Cullman all conflicted with Auburn's games so I stayed home. She didn't mind because it was only a 45 minute drive.
The next weekend at Oxford was the Final Four weekend. I told my wife I wasn't going and she was not happy with me. She still brings it up.

Road is hard. It's hard in any sport.
Yesterday...amazingly...home teams were 3-5 in the SEC.

Biggest problem I see with your lineup, and with this team in general, is that we don't have a guard that can consistently iso and get penetration for the kickouts you're looking for. Same problem we've had for like 5 years now.
This is true. Pettiford did it once yesterday. He can do it if he wants. He really just looks to create for himself though. If he can flip that switch it will make a big difference in our offense.
It's going to be interesting to watch.

Broome was bad when he was out there yesterday. He got worked over and over on D and was forcing shots on O. It was kinda odd to watch.
While he's out, I think you plug Pettiford in at the 1 and just move everyone down a spot.
Going to be interesting to watch. We are going to have to team rebound.
Hudson likely will have to play a little more. Howard too. Chaney gonna have to stay out of foul trouble.

Pettiford was really good today. Huge improvement.
2nd straight game the other team had 1 guy just go off.

USC has pushed us around like rag dolls today. Been unreal to watch.

30 just destroyed Broome today. It has been hard to watch. Then this.

This would create, even more than it already has, an absolutely pointless regular season. No big games would mean anything. The games that would matter are like SMU/Miami, Washington/Iowa, BYU/Houston, Tennessee/Missouri etc...
Agreed, but they aren't going backwards. At least 16 gives 8 teams the chance to host a home playoff game and no team plays less games unless a team does not play in the Conference title game or you are ND.
16 teams in the playoffs is really silly, but who would have guessed ND would be in the finals year 1?

It hasn't been awful, but they need to go to 16 teams. You can keep the auto-bids if you want and just not offer any byes. Play first round games on higer seed's home field, then move on the neutral fields/bowls.
Seeding should be based on record/schedule strength/polls...
This isn't hard, but I feel like they made it harder than they needed to.

A problem with Denver playing the 1 is you dont want Denver's catch and shoot to disappear.
Yes! Also, Pettiford is a really good player, but he's small and wants to create for himself mostly. That's fine when the shots are falling. That looks bad when we have a 16 point lead and he misses a step back three and gets a shot blocked going to the goal where he has zero shot at making it.
I love watching him most of the time, but 2 games in a row he had a stretch where I was like...you have got to take him out.
I'm hoping he gets better and better creating for others and in 5 games I won't be saying we're not great at the 1.

I love Bruce, but he's not perfect.
We have 2 2's playing the 1. It going to be a problem at times.
We also have a 5 playing the 4 much of the time. Some teams are going to torch us there as they did last night.
Last night was very frustrating to watch down the stretch. Happy we won and let's move on, but we have to play better at the 1...especially in the last 10 minutes. We also can't have our best player melt down when he doesn't get a call.

Kaluma is the best player I've seen all year.

We gotta get better at PG, but when you are playing a 2 at the 1 it can become an issue.

I think he's the best coach we've ever had in the big 3 sports. Dye was a very important figure at Auburn for sure, but to me Bruce is the man because I am a basketball guy first. He's been unreal.
